Beautiful stay near the river
This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. It was well decorated and relaxing. However, there was garbage still in the room from previous guests, and the room is expensive. I would love to stay here again if the price was more affordable.

Could be better
First, I would like to say that I have NEVER left a negative review for any of the VRBO rentals I have used over the years. But, this one was really bad. I am not a priss, I can handle staying somewhere rustic. But at this price, I also want it to be clean. Cleanliness is always priority one for me. And this place was a disaster. Pros: The property is beautiful. The view of the river is really nice. Cons: There is a pump or something similar on the dock that is so loud you can't sit there to relax. The outside eating area, which is under a gazebo, is so filthy. There is old food, dirt, etc all over the table and chairs. We used the chairs one night and I covered them with towels because they were so dirty The actual rental was very very dirty. I don't know if the host does her own cleaning but if she has someone else do it, she should find someone else. The floors, baseboards, shelf under the sink were all disgustingly dirty. There was dust and dead bugs on the TV shelf (which I hit with my head because the table and chairs are right under it) The bed is massive. Like ridiculously tall and very difficult to get into. The nightstands are also comically big. On one side of the bed, the nightstand was so close to the bed, you could easily hit your head in the middle of the night. We had to move that nightstand and a coat rack with curvy feet that was just outside the bathroom door. Serious trip hazard. The shower floor was dirty. There was hair and who knows what else, in the corner of the shower floor. Ultimately, we didn't enjoy this stay on our 2-week motorcycle trip. We wanted somewhere clean to rest and recharge. Instead, we ended up with a very dirty and very overpriced rental. We definitely will not stay here again.

Our place is cleaned by myself, and I’ve been in the hospitality business for over 25 years in two different states and never before had a complaint. I have a checklist in order to make sure everything is not only cleaned but sanitized thoroughly. I go through the silo chateau three separate times before each guest arrives. I work hard to maintain our guest home and a review like this can only be interpreted as a personal problem with these folks (they rode bikes from Seattle for at least ten hours and arrived pretty dirty and exhausted). I’m sorry they were so unhappy but I’m at a loss to know why they would post a review like this. The Silo Chateau is delightfully unique, super clean, and the perfect spot for relaxing, hiking, fishing, or touring.. We hope you read all the great reviews we have received, and remember that we are PREMIER HOSTS!

Great place to relax!
The setting was beautiful and the rooms were clean and cozy. We enjoyed hanging out in the gazebo at night and looking at the stars. We took the boat out and my son fished. It was nice to have access to a canoe, boat, life jackets, towels, and a fire pit.

Beautiful spot
We spent 3 nights next to the river and the view was amazing! This property is located directly on the river and in a quiet area with other small acreage properties. It’s just on the outskirts of town and was super easy to get to. We watched deer on a daily basis! Thanks for the relaxing experience!

Home away from Home
What a wonderful Montana spot. The hosts are attentive and kind and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The views are spectacular and the river access is a plus. We can’t wait to come back to our home away from home and hopefully get to stay on this amazing Montana property. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Silo Chateau was super!
We really enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and the accommodations were great. Loved having access to the fire pit, grill, dock, etc. Highly recommend.

Relaxing amazing stay
What a great stay in this incredible unique place! The accommodations were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the view of the river, outdoor cooking, and of course sleeping in a silo!!! Our kids adored the resident friendly pets. Highly recommend for an experience stay or any time!!
