During checkin we left our baggage with the bell boy and got a receipt from the reception. The woman said the luggage would be sent to our room. We waited for about 4 hours and effectively missed the full first day because we had no bathing suits or other necessary things. Tried calling reception, bell boy and any other number we could get, and finally took the long walk back to the reception where we got told it was our own fault and the recipt wasnt enough, and that after checking in we should have gone back to the entrance and told the bell boy our room number. We got "compensated" with coupons to the stores that had the offers the stores already had.
One day, the nextdoors room had a lot of plates placed outside our door, and several raccoons were eating off that food, trying to get into our room as well. Old food was scattered all over the entrance to the room. Around midnight they finally came and cleaned away the plates but floor was still sticky and the smell awful. The plates were there for about 12 hours, we called about 10 times about it until we finally went to the recption.
Considering its supposed to be 5 stars, we expected a lot more, and when we were just there for a few days, these things really do count.
