âI have no problem with this hotel, from when I first arrived until I left. The Duty Manager clearly explained what I needed to know. The cleaning staff were friendly & provided an excellent service which I really appreciated. The only downside was the early morning music from the adjoining gym, which I understand was being looked into.â
âA delightful experience from check in to check out. The room was quite spacious and had every convenience needed from microwave to mini refrigerator to stove top and all of the kitchenware needed to make meal or heat up a snack. One will not be disappointed at any aspect of this small lodge in a nice neighborhood of Lower Hutt.â
âEverything catered for our needs. Stayed here a few times. Lady in the office exceeded our needs by allowing us last minute to check in way earlier then allocated time for a fee but that was not a problem as we were in a bunder. So thank you Settlers for your assistance. A++â

Strul vid incheckning dÄ hon som stog i receptionen inte hittade min bokning.. Men jag fick mitt rum och dÀr har jag inget alls att klaga pÄ. Var heller inga problem att checka ut tidigt pÄ morgonen (nyckeldrop utanför receptionen)
SÀngen riktigt skön Ä allt pÄ rummet riktigt trevligt. Mycket kaffe osv att vÀlja mellan. Kan rekommendera detta hotellet.

âI really enjoyed my stay. The Bucket Tree is very iconic, with colonial style architecture, lovely park-like surroundings and that giant bucket-shaped tree in front. I arrived in the middle of a heavy rainstorm, so really appreciated the warm and cosy room. I had a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Beautiful kitchenette and bathroom. Everything was lovely and clean and the service was great. I stayed for two nights and my room was cleaned each day. Would definitely stay here again....
âWe stayed in a one bedroom unit while visiting family in the Upper Hutt area, which was ideal as my husband often gets up very early and I prefer to sleep until at least 7 or 7.30 am. Our son was able to come and meet us in the morning so we could pick up our granddaughter and head out for the day. â

"The beds were extremely comfortable and pillows and linen. We had the larger room as we were 3 people. Perfect for us. We walked every day along the harbor to the city. Te papa museum is nearby. Breakfast was good too. Enjoyed our 3 days stay a lot"
