The Mount, 2 ensuite double rooms by The Royal William Yard

  • New build constructed in 2019. The 2-bed annex is on the ground floor with its own private entrance. There are two large bedrooms both en-suite. one has a 5 ft double bed and the other has two 3 ft single beds. There is a small separate kitchenette within the hallway. The kitchenette (not a kitchen) includes microwave, larda fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, soup maker, omelette maker, china, cutlery, utensils and a sink. There is underfloor heating with settings in every room. There is also an air exchange system for fresh clean air entering the rooms at the same temperature of the old air that leaves through a different vent. The digs are accessed up a private drive with electric gates with private parking at no extra charge. The Mount is a one minute stroll to the very popular Royal William Yard with restaurants, bars and a small ferry to The Barbican. There is also a walk-on ferry (a two minute stroll) which goes across the River Tamar to Cornwall with lovely walks and Cornish villages and pubs.

The perfect location, particularly for exploring Royal William Yard and wonderful Firestone Bay (2 minute walk); a small shingle beach with seawater lido - glorious for swimming and paddle boarding. Clean, bright and comfortable with secure parking space. Lovely to have a spacious ensuite for each bedroom. Host could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We'd love to return.

The host ensured that I was well prepared and made my stay as welcoming and stress free as possible. It is well decorated and very functional accommodation with the en-suite bathrooms surprisingly spacious with excellent shower facilities.

Lovely modern clean property, handy kitchenette, good showers, gated parking, quiet location. Good access for coast path (via the Stairway to Devon) and of course Royal William Yard and Mount Edgcumbe, sea swimming for the unhinged.Friendly and helpful host.

What a lovely place to stay, perfectly located to be able to explore Devil's Point and Royal William Yard. The property was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. We also got to meet the hosts who were lovely and let us use their paddleboards

We loved our 3 night stay here. The location was perfect, with the royal William yard a stones throw away & views of the marina. The accomodation had everything we needed for a short stay & our host couldn’t have been more friendly & helpful. We’ll definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at The Mount. We arrived late after a long drive down from Scotland but Joanna was there to greet us and was a very friendly, welcoming host. We were made to feel right at home straight away. The property and location was perfect for us as a family of 3, with secure parking and easy access to Royal William yard. We look forward to visiting again.

Joanna was incredibly helpful before and throughout our stay, suggesting places to visit and how best to get there. She made sure she was there to meet us when we arrived, and even left a birthday card and gift for me which was so thoughtful. I would highly recommend staying here, the location is spot on and the accommodation is lovely.

Really tidy and clean accomodation. Beds were nice and comfy with lovely walk in showers. Very modern, fresh feel throughout. Joanna was a brilliant host and her communication before and during our stay was excellent! She offered some really helpful advice on activities to do in the local area :)We all really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning at a later date :)

Great place to explore Plymouth

Lovely rooms conveniently located for Royal William Yard, ferries to Mount Edgecombe, Cornwall, and the Barbican, buses to city, and a short walk to The Hoe. Close to swimming and paddle boarding beach and coastal walks, cycle paths.

Best stay in Plymouth, great value for money.

A lovely, cosy accomadition with everything there, Great hosts on hand if required and set in outstanding grounds a real idlic location to stay. Minutes from Royal William yard with great transport links of boats, buses and taxis is available. Would highly recommend to all that visit Plymouth and definitely will be staying again.

A beautiful home with all the creature comforts, very close to the beach front and harbour. Amazing views all round with exquisite cuisine located on the doorstep, super friendly area with easy access to the local town centre by car or by a short boat ride. The owner was amazing and very welcoming to our family, we had the best time in a long time away from home, their home felt like our home for the entire stay!

Sehr schöne Wohnung und sehr netter Kontakt zu den Vermietern. Die Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alles ist sauber und sehr modern eingerichtet. Sehr kurzer Weg zum Meer und Strand und viele gute und schöne Restaurants in direkter Umgebung.Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Our stay was perfect. Accommodation wonderful. Location could not have been better. So close to Royal William Yard and coast line. Hosts were FIRST CLASS. We will be back for more!

My daughter and I were comfortable and warm . We had everything we needed . It was easy to meet family in King William Yard and Cornwall
