The Space:

👋 Welcome to our Poconos chalet, tucked into a quiet, tree-shaded lot inside the gated community of Arrowhead Lakes, PA. Soaring ceilings, walls of glass onto the woods, and a game loft the kids (and the adults) will fight over.

 

🛋️ The Great Room

Cathedral ceilings and walls of glass fill the main level with light. An oversized wraparound sectional gathers around a grand propane stone fireplace (lights at the flip of a switch, no firewood needed) beneath a wall-mounted Roku Smart TV. Sliding doors lead out to the deck and fire pit. Hardwood floors run through the open-concept level.

 

🍳 The Kitchen

A cheerful sage-green kitchen with everything you need to cook: full-size stainless fridge/freezer, electric range & oven, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, Keurig + drip coffee maker, electric kettle, 4-slice toaster, toaster oven, air fryer, full cookware/bakeware/dishes/glassware and utensils, plus a dining table seating 6.

Three bedrooms plus a loft/game room with two twin beds — six beds total. The loft is an open game room, not a fourth bedroom. Maximum occupancy is 10 guests, per the township permit. Each bedroom has its own smart TV and mini-split.

Arrowhead Lakes, Pocono Lake, PA — gated, quiet and central to Jack Frost/Big Boulder, Camelback, Kalahari's indoor waterpark, Mount Airy Casino, Lake Harmony and Hickory Run State Park. Community lake, beach and pool access come with your ALCA temporary membership (see fees below). Within Arrowhead Lakes, guests can also enjoy a gym and pool-table room at the Recreation Center; a kids' game room at the Main Gate Welcome Center; and basketball, pickleball and volleyball courts, plus horseshoe pits. Access is subject to seasonal availability, posted hours, applicable HOA fees and community rules.

We welcome up to 2 dogs, 50 lbs or under, for a $75 per-animal pet fee (no cats, please).

Guest Access:

⚫Guests have access to our entire home via electronic lock. A QR code is required to enter the community — guests will not be able to enter without it.

⚫Automated check-in instructions are sent 24 hours before arrival, so everything's ready ahead of time.

⚫Our door locks are electronic; a door code is sent automatically 2 hours before check-in (unless checking in earlier).

⚫Checkout instructions are sent the day before departure at 2:00 PM.

⚠️ This is a gated community requiring us to submit guest's info THREE (3) DAYS prior to arrival.

⚠️ Any changes to reservation details (number of occupants, vehicles, vehicle swaps, additional guests) cannot be made within THREE (3) DAYS of arrival — the HOA is strict on this, no exceptions.

⚠️ HOA late fee will apply if registration is not completed at least THREE (3) DAYS prior to arrival

⚠️ The main renter receives a Renter Welcome Infosheet from ALCA covering rules and regulations, the trash and recycling center, amenities, a map and local recommendations.

⚠️ Given our rural setting, you may occasionally notice small, non-harmful insects. We keep comprehensive year-round pest control in place — please let us know of any concerns.

⚠️ 🐻 Tucked in nature, so you may spot a black bear now and then. They prefer to keep their distance — secure food and trash and they'll simply wander by.

⚠️ Winter Driving ❄️: 4WD/AWD is strongly recommended, as mountain roads can be snowy or icy. We do our best to have the driveway plowed, but conditions vary. If a vehicle becomes stuck, guests are responsible for arranging and covering any towing or assistance.

⚠️ Lost & Found: If items are left behind we're happy to arrange return shipping 📦 — a $50 handling fee applies for retrieval and coordination, in addition to all shipping costs 🚚.

⚠️ Guests are responsible for disposing of all trash before checkout; a $5 per bag fee may apply for trash left behind. If the community compactor is closed on your checkout day, please take the bulk of your trash the day before.

🌙 HOA Rule: outdoor lights must be off by 11 PM. Violations carry a $300 fine, which we'd need to pass on to guests.

⚠️ Our great-room fireplace runs on propane. No firewood is needed or provided — please don't burn wood or other materials in the fireplace.

📹 Exterior Security Cameras: Two exterior security cameras are installed on the property: one camera at the front door monitoring the entrance, and one camera facing and monitoring the driveway. There are no other cameras on the property and no cameras inside the home or in private areas.
