Overall a nice hotel with good location. The room was nice and clean but everyday there was a sudden, temporary strong smell of gasoline in the room which disapeared after some time.
Some staff members were really helpful and friendly while others indeed were not. For example, upon check-out we were neither greeted when approaching the reception nor thanked when paying the bill, and did not get a simple ’goodbye’ either. Also we were not asked about how our stay was and not offered to review the bill of items before making the payment - all quite standard, and surely so for a 5-star hotel.
Additionally, we had pre-booked and paid a 80 euro transfer through the hotel to go to our next destination. When double checking with the reception ’will the car be outside at 12.30?’, the response was ’well for what time did you book it?’. I answered ’12.30’, whereafter the response was ’you can go out and look then’, without any indication of what car/registration number to look for among the many cars parked outside.
Finally, I want to mentioned that we booked three transfers with the hotel and the drivers/cars/experiences of all of these were truly excellent.
