Located on Cheticamp Island and across from Cheticamp beach, Les Cabaneaux summer vacation cabins are perfect for a family vacation, girl week-ends or a romantic getaway. The sound of the waves, views of the mountains and magical sunsets will make you want to come back year after year.
The cabin has been totally renovated, top to bottom, with modern ammendities, new appliances and kitchen and everything you will need to completly relaxe so you can enjoy the views.

Great place and location! Beautiful beach and sunset a very short walk away. We were able to check in 30min early. Our only issue was the lack of correspondence to resolve the non-functional wifi during our 2 day stay.

Great stay near the beach!

My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration.

Lovely time near the beach in Cheticamp

My wife and I enjoyed two weeks exploring Nova Scotia with our dog and had the pleasure of spending a few lovely days and nights at this cabin. The kitchen, dining room, and bedrooms are all neat and tidy, and the kitchen in particular has everything you need to cook a meal if you can't find food in Cheticamp, which is a pretty small town where there aren't a ton of options if you're really into good food. The outdoor space is amazing - separate fire pits and seating for each cabin, an outdoor deck space, and plenty of room to roam with pets that are a safe distance from the road. The beach across the road is also great and not super crowded - very relaxing atmosphere! Only complaint is that the bathroom was a little wet/mildewy, and the hot water wasn't working when we arrived, but the owner got it sorted quickly and was really responsive to us. All in all, a great stay, would come back in a heartbeat.

A little slice of Heaven

This little cottage was an absolutely wonderful place to stay for a few days of our Nova Scotian road trip! You cannot beat the location with the ocean out front and then harbor behind.The cottage was clean, comfortable and modern. Great deck for relaxing. We had 2 adults and 2 teens, the size was fine for just a few days of R&R. We lucked out with the weather and got to enjoy a few beautiful sunsets at the beach just steps away. Would definitely stay again!

We loved staying so close to the beach. We could tell there have been a lot of upgrades to the cabin. The kitchen was lovely. However, the AC wasn't working and we weren't told about this in advance. Luckily the days we were there it was relatively cool but if it had been as hot as it was the week before it would have been a problem. I tried to contact the owner a couple of times through VRBO and through email with no response. We also didn't get any communication leading up to our stay telling us how check-in would work. After we arrived we got an email talking about ideas to do in the area, that would have been better to get in advance.

Lovely spot

The cabin was perfect. It was close to the trails for hiking and close to town to get food. Loved being close to the beach. Our dogs loved the property. The bedrooms and bathroom were clean and bright. Nice kitchen.
