âThe property is absolutely beautiful and peacefulâsurrounded by nature, that made me feel truly alive. Everything about the environment was breathtaking and relaxing.
However, I did feel that some of the staff in the cafeteria were not as friendly or welcoming toward us compared to how they treated other guests. It was disappointing and made us feel a bit uncomfortable. I canât help but wonder if it had to do with us being Hispanic. I hope this is something they reflect on, as hospitality...
âGreat location - short drive to Carmel by the Sea and Monterey. The valley is warmer and more likely to have sunshie compared to Carmel by the sea.
The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We walked around the golf course every morning and enjoyed the pool in the afternoons. The food at the grill bar restaurant was decent.

Bed is to soft for my taste. Also thin walls, could hear the family and their shouting kids like they were standing in my room but was better in the evening and no problem during the night. â

âI stayed in anamaizngqueen room with a beautiful bath tub. I read reviews about this hotel being loud, but I was not prepared to be woken up at 5:30 with constant noise from the stairs and doors opening and closing. I was on the ground/countyard ... maybe a higher room would be quieter. Also, no AC. I also had to wait about 10 minutes to be served by the bartender for a glass of wine - after seeking out someone to help me. All that being said, I would stay again. â
