Ca'n Mateu, villa med privat pool, jacuzzi och terrasser i Pollença

  • Beläget på en mycket lugn och privat plats i utkanten av Pollença. Ca'n Mateu ligger i Colonyadalen och har utsikt över berget Puig de Maria.
    Flera terrasser omger huset, grillområdet, poolen och jacuzzin. Inuti, fördelade på en enda våning, är rummen ljusa och med en blandning av traditionella material med modern komfort. Taket är med balkar och golven med terrakottakakel. Vardagsrummet är rymligt med soffor runt spisen. Det finns satellit-TV, CD- och DVD-ljudutrustning. Köket är välutrustat och är mycket rymligt. De fyra sovrummen har två enkelsängar och ett badrum.
    Pollença är en stad full av traditioner med kända festligheter som processioner av Holy Week of Calvary, Moors och kristnas festival och "La Patrona" (från 27 juli till 2 augusti). Varje söndag morgon finns det en trevlig marknad på torget. Förutom olika konstgallerier är stadens kulturella erbjudande under sommaren mycket rikligt, vilket belyser den berömda internationella musikfestivalen i Pollença, där varje vecka under sommarmånaderna en internationellt känd orkester, band eller solist uppträder. Bland de mest pittoreska platserna i staden är "Puig de Maria" och Golgata med sin trappa på 365 trappsteg. Pollença är också utgångspunkten för flera vackra utflykter i Sierra de Tramuntana. Den berömda Formentor-halvön, Sant Vicenç-viken och hamnen i Pollença tillhör också samma kommun och kan nås på några minuter med bilen.
    Uthyrningen av fastigheten är tillgänglig från 1 mars till 31 oktober. Resten av året finns inte att hyra.

Sehr tolle Unterkunft. Hatten einen guten Aufenthalt (4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder). Haus war sauber und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Grillhaus war top und ermöglichte uns tolle Grillabende. Cati war für Fragen immer erreichbar und half. Können es weiterempfehlen.

Toller Urlaub

Von außen sehr gepflegtes Anwesen mit tollem Pool. Innen entspricht die Einrichtung genau den Bildern, es ist etwas rustikal aber in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Die Küche ist wirklich gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation lief hervorragend und auch der Check-In Vorgang ist super organisiert. Lediglich der Whirlpool ist etwas heruntergekommen, wobei wir sowieso nur den großen Pool genutzt haben und man sollte sich Moskitospray einpacken gegen die Mücken.

Fantastic outside space and very peacefull but the rest is not great value for money compared to our previous experiences at weekly rentals on the Island. The first impression was a poor one with a dirty pool and the house has a musty odour that did improve as the week went on having left the doors open most days. Good indoor space overall with 4 good sized bedrooms with en suites. The owner did resolve a few issues for us after day 1, however all could have been avoided with a bit more care and attention before new guests arrive. Issues included missing baby bed, TV that did not work and needed to be replaced, known issue with iron not replaced and listed items on the inventory not available or usable.In summary, if you are looking for a quiet break then this is your place. If however you are looking for quality finish and feel, this is not the place for you.

Die Einrichtung der Küche ist schon älter, aber alles funktioniert. Die Ausstattung ist vollständig. Der Whirlpool ist leider nicht beheizt. Die Terrasse, der Sitzbereich und der Ausblick sind toll. Genau wie auf den Fotos. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich hatte zunächst Sorge wegen der schmalen Zufahrt, aber das war gar kein Problem solange man langsam unterwegs ist. Der Kontakt zu dem Vermieter war sehr gut, schnell und unkompliziert.

Sehr schöne Anlage, Pool und Umgebung sehr gepflegt. Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Die Betten sind ok, jedoch nur mit einem Leintuch und Wollendecke. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge. Nur die Anfahrt zur Finca ist mit einem grossen Auto etwas eng.

Lovely Villa

This is a wonderful villa for anyone sharing. There are no ‘ double beds’ as such but all singles can be pushed together. The beds and pillows were not comfortable for everyone but mostly fine. En-suite for each bedroom was a bonus and no interior steps to catch you out. Inside eating was comfortable as we were pestered by wasps and mosquitoes so repellent needed. Air conditioning was very welcoming and efficient. Lots of cutlery and crockery. The pool was used daily. It was lovely, the steps making it easy to access for all ages. Bar b q was used often as was the table tennis table. The only down side was the access. I’m glad our hire cars weren’t any wider, but my son saw it as a challenge and my daughter got used to the car beeping warnings constantly! We know Pollensa well and we had a glorious holiday. Thank you.

Tolle Finca - Tolle Lage!

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne Ferien in dieser Finca. Die Lage ist super und die Finca ist wie auf den Bildern dargestellt: Sehr grosszügig und es hat alles, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation verlief sehr unkompliziert und rasch, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Eine harmonische und ruhige Finca

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und ruhigen Urlaub. Wer die Ruhe liebt, ist hier genau richtig .Die Finca liegt sehr schön, ruhig , mit tollem Blick auf das Tramuntanagebirge, mit schönem Pool direkt am Haus. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet , es ist alles da was man braucht, es hat einfach alles super gepasst. Mit Cati hatten wir eine super Verwalterin, sehr zu vorkommend und immer bereit , wenn wir was auf dem Herzen hatten, wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Was aber anzumerken ist, es gab viele Stechmücken, bringt also Mückenspray mit.... Fazit, gerne sofort wieder ,

Great location, lovely outside space

Great villa in a rural location with plenty of privacy (even with neighbours close by). The outdoor space really made the holiday - great pool, plenty of sunbeds and seating both in the sun and shade. The inside of the villa is basic, but had everything we needed and the en-suites and air con in every room was a bonus! Overall a fantastic villa and location.

Great vacation on a lovely property

We loved our stay on the lovely property. Communication with our host worked perfectly already from the beginning. The pool is of good size and especially the whirlpool was highly appreciated in colder nights. All rooms are equiped equally. We absolutely feeled home.

Paradise in rural Pollenca!

We have just returned from a long awaited (thanks COVID19) week stay at this villa and I don't know where to start! It was perfect for us from start to finish and in every respect! We will definitely book again! Cati, the owner, was very friendly and approachable and very easy to contact. On the one occasion we had to message her to ask something, she responded immediately. All correspondence, as well as info at the villa, was brilliant. The directions sent to find the villa were spot on and easy to follow. The location for us was superb. We don't like to be on estates or in built up areas, so the lovely rural location was perfect for us. Peaceful, relaxing, quiet and just stunning. Surrounded by mountains and fields, with only the sounds of cicadas and crickets and the tinkling of sheep bells! Bliss! The road to the villa was a bit bumpy and unsurfaced in places but easily manageable in our rental skoda fabia. It is quite narrow in places so we were glad not to have a bigger car! Car hire for us was essential, but people nearby seemed to be easily relying on a taxi. There are only a handful of villas nearby and so you feel suitably isolated and peaceful. The villas plot was lovely - really decent size and exceptionally well maintained. Good car port for shade, gates for security and lovely mature shrubs in full bloom. There was a lovely, well maintained climbing frame with slide and swing that our kids loved. The pool is fantastic- superb size, lovely and warm, always in the sun, gorgeous roman steps which were great for our youngest getting in and out. There is also a ping pong table and hot tub (which we didn't use). The surrounding area was lovely and well maintained - plenty of sun loungers and just one umbrella which cannot be moved. We thought this might be a problem as we're all fair skinned, but it really wasn't because of the shaded outdoor dining area and veranda which was lovely to sit on and had plenty of fantastic quality furniture in it. There was also a fantastic outdoor, covered bbq house including toilet and shower and washing machine etc - fabulous! The villa itself is beautiful! Very clean, tonnes of towels (including beach towels) good quality bedding and comfy beds. Air con in every room that works well and all bedrooms and huge doubles with good ensuites. We were thrilled to bits! The fireplace is gorgeous and sofas are clean and comfy. The kitchen is huge and is well stocked - had everything we needed! LOVED it all :-)

Ein wunderbarer Ort

Cati ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin. Der Kontakt war immer zeitnah, freundlich und verlässlich. Die Villa ist wie beschrieben, liegt abgelegen-ländlich in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Von Oliven- und Feigenbäumen umgeben, anliegend an eine Schafsweide. Ein fantastischer Blick auf die Serra de Tramuntana. Rustikal und liebevoll eingerichtet mit allem was man benötigt. Großzügiger Außenbereich mit toller schattiger Terrasse. Alle vier Schlafzimmer mit Bad und WC. Nutzung des Pools und des Wirlpools einwandfrei. In der Nähe befinden sich ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Absolute Weiterempfehlung, für Familien mit Kindern absolut geeignet. Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit!

Absolutly fantastic holiday in September 2019

First of all I would like to thank Cati for the great communication before and during the visit! Really easy and quick communication. Thanks a mill! The finca is located in a rural area which was perfect for us since we enjoyed the silence and the peace. There are neighbours we never heard a noise. It is not far away from Pollenca (about 5 minutes by car) and 45 minutes away from airport PMI. A rental car is definetly needed and please use Google Maps app to find the finca in addition to the information provided by the owner. The finca itself is like on the photos provided on the website. Absolutly fantastic and lovely with a view on the countryside with some mountains in the background. There is enough space for 8 people and 2 rental cars and it is also equiped well for those number of people with all things needed for the daily finca life. The terrace is covered and a large table stands in the middle, perfectly for meals or games having the awesome view on the mountain and the pool which is lighted in the evening (turns on itself at 9:15 pm) in the background. The rooms have their bath en suite which were very clean and modern. Also the barbecue station worked very well and the garden was absolutly in order. There is only one suggestion from our side: For 8 people there needs to be a coffee machine with a bigger pot to have each one a coffee before cooking new one. :) However, we highly recommend to visit this finca and enjoying great and relaxing holidays.
