âYou could do a lot worse ! This hotel was perfectly adequate for our purpose. It lies just outside White Town. Crossing the road by foot from the white town side to the hotel side of the road like any Indian city is not for the faint of heart. Breakfast was standard fare for South India. âComfortable and relaxed environment. The proximity to the ocean is the great asset, although it is not possible to swim at this part of the coast.
A highlight is all people walking on the street along the ocean in the evening.â
âWe extended our stay here. The staff is helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. This is a great location for a walkable distance to the French quarter as well as a number of restaurants.
The breakfast is simple but good. Ceiling fan and air conditioner keep the room cold. A water kettle and cups are also available in the room as well as basic toiletries.
Worth a stay. Lovely building and rooms. The wala need some fresh paint, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay. â
