This duplex apartment, decorated to provide maximum comfort and make you feel at home, is the perfect starting point to explore the Island of São Miguel and its attractions.

Ideal for families or groups, this accommodation features a bright living area with an open-plan living room and kitchen. The living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa and TV, perfect for relaxing and unwinding at the end of the day.

The elegant kitchen, designed with a practical peninsula, is fully equipped and ideal for preparing all your meals. In addition to the basic utensils, the kitchen has an oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and other useful appliances for your daily needs. The accommodation also has a washing machine!

The three bedrooms are harmoniously decorated and equipped, with wardrobes to store your belongings. The master bedroom, on the first floor, has a comfortable double bed. On the second floor, the second bedroom is configured with two twin beds, while the third bedroom, lit by a skylight, is equipped with a single bed.

The apartment has two bathrooms, one on each floor, fully appointed with all amenities including towels and toiletries for your convenience.

Please note that access to the apartment and the second floor is via stairs, and is not recommended for guests with reduced mobility.

The space is always professionally cleaned.

Located in the charming and picturesque coastal parish of São Roque, this accommodation offers you the perfect retreat where the tranquillity of the Azorean sea meets urban convenience. The energy of this neighbourhood is invigorating and deeply connected to the ocean, marked by a sea breeze and a very relaxing atmosphere. Just a few steps from home, you will have the privilege of enjoying some of the most charismatic bathing areas on the south coast: take a refreshing dip at Praia de São Roque, explore the views of the iconic Ilhéu de São Roque, or relax in the crystal-clear waters of the Zona Balnear do Forno da Cal. The seafront promenade (Avenida do Mar) is an unmissable invitation for morning walks or to savour the local cuisine in one of the many fresh fish restaurants in the area.

Despite enjoying all this maritime serenity, the proximity to the capital, Ponta Delgada, is absolutely exceptional. Just a few minutes away (a very quick car ride or even a beautiful and scenic walk along the seafront promenade), you will be stepping into the vibrant heart of the city. You will have easy access to the iconic Portas da Cidade, the colourful Mercado da Graça, the lively Marina and all the incredibly rich historical, architectural and cultural Micaelense heritage, and you can comfortably return to your peaceful coastal paradise at the end of the day.

Beyond this privileged connection to the capital, São Roque serves as an excellent logistical and strategic base for exploring the greatest wonders of the "Green Island". With direct and easy access to the main expressways, planning itineraries becomes incredibly practical. From here, it is very easy to head west to be amazed by the viewpoints of the mythical Sete Cidades lagoon, or to travel inland to marvel at the unspoilt nature of Lagoa do Fogo. In no time, you can also take a trip to the north coast to explore the city of Ribeira Grande, famous for its surf and natural pools, or head inland and let yourself be enveloped by the mysticism and thermal waters of Furnas!

The main form of public transport is the bus, with connections between São Roque and the centre of Ponta Delgada. The nearest bus stop is just a few minutes' walk from the property.

By car, the EN1-1A (National Road) allows you to reach the centre of Ponta Delgada in approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Car rental is highly recommended for exploring the island of São Miguel.

João Paulo II International Airport (Ponta Delgada) is approximately 10 to 15 minutes away by car. Taxis and private transfers are available at the airport and in the area.

This is a self check-in property and you will be asked to verify your identity before being able to check in to the accommodation (15:00). We ask all guests to fill in a registration form which will be sent after the booking confirmation, in accordance with the legal obligations stipulated by the local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of tobacco, ash, cigarette butts, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a fee of at least €200 EUR.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy for utilities will apply with a limit of €80 included.

For the first few days, we provide the following basic amenities: small containers of shower gel, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, washing-up liquid and a bin bag.

Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, lost keys or door opening service).
Extra cleaning: price of one cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
