We stayed here in FEB 2024, and we honestly can't wait to return. It is hands down the best hotel experience we've ever had. Even before our arrival, they were always very prompt in replying to emails, and answering questions. Every single staff we interacted with, from check-in to check-out, were always friendly, professional and in some instances, went above and beyond in helping us figure out our after hours car rental return. The handwritten welcome note, and complimentary bottle of wine in our suite was personalized and impressive. Every cocktail was delectable, every meal was delicious. The room, the entire property, everything was spotless and very well maintained. We can't wait to return. This was the perfect place for some well needed R&R.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Sensi Azores Nature & Spa. This is truly a boutique hotel that offers a relaxing and welcoming experience. The staff throughout were amazing, especially the bar and restaurant staff. The food was delicious and the bar staff made great cocktails. Every morning, the included breakfast offered the freshest local cheeses, breads, fruit, and assortment of hot offerings made to order. Everything we ate at the hotel was delicious. We enjoyed a couples massage that was fantastic. We stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the ocean and it was perfect. Beautiful patio, modern bathroom, and comfortable bedding. The customer service at this hotel is truly that of a five star hotel. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the Azores!

I really loved this hotel! It’s in a beautiful location with awesome views of the ocean, the staff is very attentive, and the rooms are well appointed! We arrived before our room was ready and were directed to the spa where we could relax in the pool, sauna, and Turkish bath, which was great after a red eye flight. The food in the restaurant was pretty good! There was some interesting things on the menu like the triggerfish hotdog which was fun to eat.

We had a really great stay at this very beautiful and calming hotel..The hotel room was very elegant and comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. The food here is delicious! Breakfast is amazing with a great continental breakfast with cheese, ham and fruit and pastries along with a choice of entree. The tea, coffee and fresh juice is great. The staff in the Dining room for breakfast and dinner are so nice and do an excellent job. Our favorite meal was breakfast though due to the great food and lovely staff member who served us each day and even asked about our days hiking and sightsering. The bar lounge is gorgeous and a lovely place for a pre dinner drink. Dinner has some nice choices all very well prepared. The hotel location is excellent. It is located down a quiet road so there is no car noise. It is located near to the thermal waters at Ferraria and just 15 minutes drive to the village of Sete Cidades where great hikes await! We had a wonderful stay and would like to return!

Quelle déception...Nous avons séjourné 7 nuits dans cet hôtel, chambre n°10 "Deluxe avec vue mer" à 514.— la nuit (3’600 euros la semaine) et 700.— Euro de consommation sur place, car pas de restaurant sympa dans le coin et Ponta Delgada est à 30 minutes en voiture. Quand on dépense une telle somme avec des prix similaires à des pays comme la Suisse, on s’attend également à des prestations équivalentes, mais quelle désillusion. La salle de bain était indigne d’un 5 étoiles : moisissure autour de la baignoire, sol fissuré, finitions catastrophiques, mobilier tâché et moisi, toilette abimée, sans parler des baies vitrées sales et d’une prise électrique dangereuse, attention aux enfants, dans la chambre. Il faut quand même oser louer une chambre dans un pareil état ! Nous avons informé la propriétaire avant de devoir montrer des photos car elle ne voulait pas se déplacer dans la chambre. Malgré cela, nous avons eu droit à une multitude excuses, problème de vent, l’eau de mer et produits de nettoyage trop agressifs,…. L’après-midi, un ouvrier a tartiné à la va-vite du silicone sur les moisissures et le résultat était affligeant, autant ne rien faire. Lors de notre départ, aucun geste commercial ne nous a été proposé. Nous avons finalement écrit à la direction et un Voucher pour 2 nuits nous a été proposé, nous contraignant à retourner dans le même établissement. Nous avons donc, simplement, demandé de nous ristourner 2 nuits, ce qui était l'équivalant du bon proposé. Depuis...

We really care about the quality of service we provide to our guests and their satisfaction, as reviews on platforms such as Google, Booking and Expedia can thoroughly evidence.Unfortunately, we are not entitled to respond to this review with photos to show how unfair this review is.But above all, what we were not able to accept was the insistent and repeated threat made by our guest during more than one month, that unless we paid them back more than 1000 euros, they would make a bad review and publish photos taken out of contest. What a desappoitment indeed...

We stayed at three of the best hotels around Sao Miguel island during our visit this week and Sensi Azores was our favorite. The beauty of the location and spaces, the peace and quiet, the warm service, and the best food of our whole trip .. I could go on, but these just a few of the things we’ll remember fondly from our visit. Mix all that with the easy drive to epic experiences at Sete Cicades and Ponta da Ferraria, and Sensi Azores is a destination not to be missed.

It’s very charming, nicely remodeled, private plunge pools, beautiful spa and absolutely delicious breakfast and dinner menu. We were treated with warmth, friendly and welcoming employees. We would love to come back and stay again. The experience was great! We had a 3 people suite with private plunge pool. Water was nice and warm and very private. We were provided with 3 robes, slippers, separate pool towels. Shower was great and spa treatment was very good.

This was an entirely transporting setting, property, and staff. There are 21 rooms ensuring a peaceful intimacy with the stunning beauty of the island's southwest coast. As far as you can see up and down the coast there is nothing but ocean and farm. We were well coddled from beginning to end. I felt personally pampered. The restored substantial farmhouse, outbuildings, and stables were imaginatively redeployed as rooms, spas and restaurant/bar. A stone horse barn with the arched wall from a large stall separated our bedroom from the sitting area. Our ocean view room had a warm dipping pool with a private terrace that offered many seating options (chaises, swinging chair and cushioned chair), making it difficult to leave our room. The staff in the spa were highly professional and we enjoyed 4 different sessions, each a pleasure. There was absolute simplicity at every encounter...Elegantly unpretentious....We spent two magnificent days by the large perfectly clear pool overlooking the ocean, free from noisy crowds. I usually take a day or 2 to acclimate to a property. This was instant bliss from the moment I walked through the door. The owners are there daily with their 2 golden labs - a restorative bonus pleasure. I forgot to mention food- fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh breads - a different daily surprise that delight in taste and presentation...We ended up staying for 2 dinners on property....great Azorean wine recommendation....I simply can't praise this place enough.

Wunderschönes, kleines (21 Zimmer) Hotel in einem ehemaligen Bauernhof. Sehr geschmackvoll angelegt und eingerichtet. Hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit Privatpool und Gartenblick. Personal überaus freundlich. Tolles serviertes Frühstück. Riesiger Außenpool, traumhaft gelegen. Kleinerer Innenpool mit Sauna/Dampfbad (buchbar von 08.00-20.00, sonst frei zugänglich). Toller Lage im Westen der Insel. Große Empfehlung für diese tolle Unterkunft!

Sensi was an absolutely amazing property. We loved every second of our stay here; from the inviting staff, unique tasty foods, and the sound of the birds on the property, we wished we could have stayed forever! Our room was a corner room with a plunge pool (heated) it felt very private although there was a family staying next to us with children who we could hear. Waking up to the sound of the birds was so magical! The use of the spa was also convenient at night; the mineral bath was very relaxing. The staff at the property helped us arrange airport transfer by a local taxi which we enjoyed. The proper is off of the beaten path but is well worth a visit. When we visit Sai Miguel in the future we will spend all of our time here.

Sehr schönes Ressort in toller Lage. Etwas zu teuer im Verhältnis Preis/ Leistung. Der privat zu buchende Indoor Pool/ die Sauna waren nicht aufgeräumt und das Trinkwasser fehlte. Alles Kleinigkeiten, aber in der Summe dürfen diese Dinge für den Preis nicht sein. Am Anfang des Urlaubs werden Allergien abgefragt und dann werden dennoch z.B. Nüssen jedesmal im Nachtisch serviert.

Exceptional find! The staff was terrific and the food in the restaurant was superior. The breakfast that was included was a full continental PLUS a hot item off the menu. The indoor, private salt water pool was a relaxing treat. We also indulged in outstanding massages. The locations was beautiful.

Such a comfortable, beautiful place to stay. The staff were very accommodating and the spa treatment was exceptional! We loved the use of the indoor heated pool since we were visiting in the cooler off-season. Breakfasts were above and beyond!! We had an early flight out on check-out day and the staff took a breakfast order ahead of time and sent us off at 5AM with a to-go bag. Exceptional service, such a deluxe stay.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was incredible and did an outstanding job of creating a wonderful atmosphere. From the music in the bar, the lounging areas to private access to the spa - it was an incredible stay. The location is quiet and not very walkable to the larger cities, you would definitely want and need a car for this location. The restaurant is nice and we ate there a few times but if you want more options you'll need to go to town. That being said I am SO glad we stayed here the entire time we were in the azores- even though it's on the west side of the island everything is fairly close on the island overall so if you don't mind a bit of driving it's a DREAM! (approx 30 mins to ponta delgada, 40 to Ribeira Grande - never more than 1.5 hours from really anywhere at all - and the drive itself is stunning) From reception to house keeping (especially housekeeping who saved my beautiful jacket from being destoryed with mud from a hike!) I'm so grateful for everyone at this amazing place and would need a lot of convincing to stay anywhere else on the island - I look forward to returning.
