“I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. “From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into the B&B and offered refreshment after a long journey. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast choices were superb. Best cooked breakfast I have had in a long time. The host was very knowledgeable about the area and after we had attended a wedding ensured there was fresh milk for us to make a drink when we got back late in the evening. Thoroughly recommend. “This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.”

Breakfast starts at 7 but the staffs let me have milk for my cereals and offered me toast earlier since i have to leave at 7. Definitely, i will book the hotel again in the future.”
“The hotel might be a bit remote and not particularly close to any specific tourist attraction, but the quality of the hotel makes a visit just for the accomodation itself worth while. It's a perfect retreat with beautiful rooms and it's situated in the middle of a wonderful, serene scenery. After staying here one night, for us the hotel itself has become an attraction to revisit.”
