Du kommer att älska vår rena 4-sovrum / 2 badstuga lika mycket som vi gör! Fullt fylld med allt du behöver från krukor och kokkärl hela vägen till en strandfilt. Koppla av och äta middag på vårt däck eller ha cocktails på den främre skärmad verandan - båda med utsikt över sjön tvärs över vägen (inte direkt på vattnet). Gå till Farmer's Market och restauranger i stan, Paks Cafe och Beer Garden, kajakuthyrning, marina och State Harbor på några minuter. Bird Creek Park och Beach ligger precis i vårt område. Gå bokstavligen överallt!

* 10 sovplatser ~ Två sovrum har drottningssängar och två har fulla sängar. Två
  soffor i vardagsrummet om du behöver lite mer utrymme.
*Två badrum. En full med dusch och badkar och den andra med dusch.
* Vitvaror: spis / ugn, kyl, mikrovågsugn, brödrost,
  kaffebryggare och brödrost.
* Ingen diskmaskin eller tvättmöjligheter, dock kaffe
   Bean and Clean är cirka 0. 1 miles upp på gatan. Ta en
   kaffe och kasta i en mängd tvätt om det behövs.
* Sängkläder: handdukar, lakan, kuddar och filtar
  (Måste ta med egna badhanddukar)
* Eldstad för användning. Ytterligare stolar bakom huset.
* Enorm gård för spel (vi har spel att använda)
* Hjälp er med vår strandfilt, strandleksaker och
  innerrör.
* Husdjur tillåtna mot en avgift på 75 $ och 25 dollar för ytterligare husdjur, men måste kontakta ägaren för godkännande. Tyvärr inga pitbullar.
* Kabel, wifi, DVD / VHS. Vi har massor av filmer och du kan hyra ännu mer i stan i hörnet Spritbutik.

This house is well stocked with needed supplies and also clean. It is a very easy walk to a nearby beach that was not busy while we were there during early August. You can also easily drive to several other beaches within 10 minutes. The host is responsive and helpful. If you have a little down time at the house you can also try to solve some mysteries. It is a great place to relax! I would definitely book this place again!

Escape to serenity

My grand children, two thirteen year old boys and one 11 year old girl and I hold what we fondly call Grammy Camp each summer. The cousins get some extended time together and I get to enjoy exploring our state with them. This cottage was perfect for us, everyone got their own room, 2 bathrooms (need I say more?), and the kitchen was so well equipped for anything we might have wanted to cook! I especially enjoyed the screen porch in the mornings for a peaceful cup of coffee, we also used the porch to do some crafting (painting stones with paint pens, no mess!); the dvd selection is epic, and later in the evenings we enjoyed a fire outside in the fire ring. We walked several times down to Bird Creek Park, my distance runner grandson did his daily runs on the peaceful streets and sidewalks, and we found many places to explore within a 30 minute drive. The owner supplied an ample number of towels, and was quick to reply when contacted.

2025 Porchfest with friends

We traveled to Port Austin for the 2025 Porchfest with a group of friends and stayed at this rental. We were very close to all the activities, music, town and the beach. Everything was in walking distance.The unit was roomy enough for the 8 of us. There were 4 bedrooms with either full or queen beds. Our bed was comfortable but a few in the group said they kept sinking toward the middle of their bed. We cooked most of our meals at the house, with a low country boil outside on one night. Delicious!! There were also a number of good restaurants and food in the area. I would recommend this as a rental property for friends and family.

Cozy cottage

This is the perfect space for a stay in Port Austin. Mary is an excellent host and extremely responsive. She helped us download an app on the TV to watch the Tigers and even helped find my husbands wedding ring/send it back after our stay. Her kindness and responsiveness made for the most comfortable stay, plus the house is stocked with helpful necessities.

Perfect Location!

Very well stocked with just about anything you could think of needing. Only thing you need to bring is your clothes, food and shower products. The host is fabulous and responds quickly. We will definitely be back as we felt comfortable and at home.

Wonderful, clean home. Very well-stocked with just about everything you need! Nice location, with a great "lake view"!! Cute nautical decor, and lighthouse decor (my favorite!) inside. Excellent, top-notch, quick-response communication with Mary, the owner of home. Very pleased with our stay!

Overall a decent stay. Pros: Affordable, very well equipped with kitchenware, beach toys, and towels, as well as papergoods. Great location and walkable to town. The cons: Walls in the back bedrooms are essentially just plywood/paneling. You can hear every breath, snore, conversation, TV through the walls. You can also see through the cracks in the corners where the walls come together. Finally, the bedroom and back bathroom doors are all wood with metal latches and several did not latch/lock and thus would not stay shut which is problematic when trying to change and/or if you like your door shut at night. We ended up propping something against the doors to keep them closed. Just a heads up that the lack of quiet/privacy may be an issue for small children trying to nap and/or those who need quiet to sleep.

The perfect place to celebrate our Moms 80th bday! Clean, quiet, close to everything in Port Austin. This cottage is quaint, welcoming and stocked with everything needed for a long weekend getaway to a coastal town off Lake Huron. Thank you so much, Mary!!!

Great location and communication

Great location. Very close to town. Emails were responded to quickly and the house was well stocked with everything we need easy to find. Loved enjoy the view from the screened in porch and deck. Rooms are small and don’t have msny plugs, but worked well for our needs. Would stay here again without question.

Relaxing location.

The home was nice but it could have been cleaner. The edges where the walls hit the floors in the bathrooms needed a good scrubbing. Also the window edges in the sun porch were very dirty. The coffee maker was left dirty and full of grounds. The giant trash can in the kitchen was unnecessarily large and a little stinky. The views of the lake were awesome though.

Great weekend

We went for a girls weekend. Had so much fun, even though we got snowed in. The house was warm and cozy, we had everything we needed for a great stay. The beds were incredible comfortable. We watched movies, played board games and cooked delicious food. Thank you Mary! We had thad a gret time.

Great location and host

Rented this property for a hunting trip with my two sons. Its a good size for 3-5 ppl. 10 ppl could 'sleep' in this unit but it's too small for that many ppl all day. No washer or dryer, no dishwasher, but that was expected. Clean house. very close to downtown Port Austin. Easy access.
