Bad Weather: Refunds will be made for mandatory hurricane evacuation/tropical depressions that are in the Gulf of Mexico heading towards the Bolivar Peninsula. If you are on site when this occurs, we will ask you to vacate as soon as possible and a partial refund for days not used will be refunded immediately. If this occurs prior to your arrival we will refund 100%. We can not guarantee sunny weather during your stay. Pop up rain storms happen and they are out of our control.

Lobster shack is awesome

Great property and great communication with owner. Has everything we needed and the place is super clean. Loved having a beach wagon with chairs and all the items you could need at the beach. The tiki area downstairs is great for catching up and enjoying a cold drink.

Check in was easy. Owners were so communicative. We had a great time. My family loved staying there.. we will definitely try and come back because this was by far one of the best experiences. Thank you for having such a lovely home and sharing it with us.

Perfect getaway- would happily come back

Our family of four stayed for a handful of days for the perfect getaway. The family room had great natural light and upstairs deck was a great spot for early morning coffee or dinner around the table. As big cooks, we tend to pack what we need, but were surprised by the amount of gadgets the kitchen had. The house was close enough to the beach to walk, but I would recommend a golf cart to be able to come and go freely.

Would stay again!

This place was perfect for our vacation, the kids loved it! Very close to everything and neighborhood was nice. The house was very accommodating to us and our pets with things like soap built in the shower, that was great by the way, and homemade treats left for our pups! Overall I would absolutely recommend

Very Clean Property

Had another great experience with this property, even though the weather wasn’t ideal. This is the second time we stayed here and will continue to come back. There is plenty of games, beach items and space to have a great time. The host is very responsive and the property fits our needs perfectly.

Great location, great amenities

This was the 2nd year we stayed here. Very dog friendly. Close enough to the beach to walk but far enough away that you don't hear the parties. Close to the grocery store and dining options. Would definitely stay again!

What an amazing getaway spot

We arrived at night and I loved the sensor flood light's. Easy check in process and the place was very clean and nicely taken care of. Loved the outdoor area & so did the dogs. They had pretty much everything we needed. I loved that I could let our dogs run around without worry of them getting out. Loved the radio, corn hole and table setup downstairs. We had an amazing time and I would definitely rent this place again.

Amazing Pet-Friendly Stay!!!

The Lobster Shack was the perfect vacation home to stay in for our family! It was clean, beautiful, and had everything we could need. We love supporting small businesses with the amenities like hand soap and yummy dog treats! The fenced yard allowed us to relax while our dogs ran around and played safely. Proximity to the beach was excellent. We can't wait to stay again!!!

Great host !!

Perfect house for a family. Pet friendly with plenty of fenced area for pets to roam. Excellent location for local food, shopping. Easy 5 min walk or golf cart ride to the beach with very little road traffic in the neighborhood. 10 out of 10 for sure will book again.

Great Experience

My husband & our family stayed at this VRBO during Thanksgiving week. We didn’t have the best weather so we stayed in the house a lot. We were so impressed. It was SO clean, spacious, & the host thought of everything. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was fully stocked. We brought our lab & the fenced in yard was perfect. The location was centralized & right across the street from the grocery store. The communication is clear and we had zero issues. Overall, we were very impressed & we will be back!

Wonderful hostess, new and clean house

We loved our stay at Lobster Shack. Dana checked in on us several times to make sure we were set, and even made some accommodations that we didn't even ask about (i.e. early check-in). The house had tons of amenities, a short walk to beach access, and super close to the grocery store. The neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Best experience

My family and I have stayed at many houses on Crystal Beach this one was by far the cleanest and most well maintained. Nice quite neighborhood just minutes from the beach, kitchen and all rooms stocked with everything one would need and the host was excellent. You just couldn't ask for a better stay anywhere. We would definitely stay here again , thank you so much!

Great Stay! Very Unique Beach!

Great house! Super clean! The owner of the home self manages the property and is super responsive and helpful with any questions or needs and is a great host! We really enjoyed the local bag of coffee, and our dog enjoyed the locally made dog biscuits that the owner thoughtfully provided. When not on the beach we spent most of our time outside below the house playing corn hole or reading in the hammock swings. There is a nice bar area, a grill, and plenty of seating for everyone. The outdoor area below is fenced in and was great for our dog. Everything you need for the beach is provided just bring your bathing suit and suntan lotion. The beaches were so different than our east coast beaches. Trucks, ATVs, and golf carts (and dogs) are allowed on the beach and proudly cruise up and down the beach displaying their flags. We rented a golf cart for a day and joined in on the fun cruising the beach. We found the local kite shop and bought a flag to take home. The beach is within walking distance and is big enough to accommodate people, vehicles, sun canopies, etc and still have plenty of room to cruise up and down the beach. Also check out Fins Bar & Grille at Camp Margaritaville RV Resort that is open to the public, great food and service. We had a great time in this quiet town with a laid back beach community! We hope to come back to the Lobster Shack again with the rest of our family!

This was beautiful!

My family and I stayed here for a birthday. It was amazing! Very clean and the host even reached out to make sure everything was great. She was so sweet and left a birthday card and balloons for me. I will be staying here again!!!
