“The caravan park is in a gorgeous position with unbeatable scenic views over the water and mountains and is tranquil and well run. The very old cottage we hired is adequate but showing its age quite badly. and could do with a refresh. Although it comes with kitchen provisions eg plates saucepans etc they are fairly sparse particularly since the cottage sleeps up to 7. Fridge is large however and quite new. “The host (Fi) was excellent and responded to our queries promptly. She is most definitely a genuine dog lover and provides for the 4-legged guests accordingly. The unit had everything we needed plus a few extra's and we had access to a fully fenced back yard for our doggo. There was also a BBQ which we did use on the first night. Plenty of information on dog friendly local beaches and cafes which we found very helpful. Port Macquarie also has much to offer in terms of craft breweries, wineries,...

“Overall good, but I gotta point out that the place is very damp. Partly recent weather and partly the outdated infrastructure. This means a higher maintenance from the owner's end. And it is not up keeping to the level to not have it as an obvious issue. Everything in the place has a damp smell, the drains are slow going, almost clogged. Again, overall okay, but I cant say I felt comfortable or enjoyable.”
