Adorable Cottage with Pool Minutes from Beach!

Welcome to our cozy, relaxing home perfect for making beach vacation memories that will last a lifetime! Our newly renovated beach home is just a few blocks from the pristine, quiet beaches of the forgotten coast. After enjoying the warm, white sand and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, rinse off in the pool, relax on one of the two porches, gather around the outdoor fireplace, and prepare dinner on the BBQ grill.

Every aspect of this home has been remodeled to create the perfect oasis for a relaxing beach vacation for you and your family.

While the home is equipped to host 6 people, we think the perfect group size is 4-5. We are happy to host all 6, but keep in mind it will be a little cozier.

Sure, eating at fancy restaurants can be fun, but sometimes we all want to have a nice home-cooked meal, right? That’s why our kitchen is fully stocked with the essentials you’ll need to cook a nice meal. In addition, there is access to an outdoor grill on the property!

Other notable indoor amenities include free WiFi, washer/dryer, and smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room.

(Note: You will need to use your own streaming subscription log-in info on the smart TVs. Please remember to log-out at the end of your stay.)

Comfy cottage

This was a mom and daughter trip after the passing of my husband 11/2024, the cottage was perfect and very cozy and had everything we needed to cook, they even supply laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Check in was easy and the owner was very accessible and pleasant to deal with even though we had no issues. The beach is very close and just a short walk. We would definitely recommend the cottage and gladly stay again.

Our vacation.

The property was just as expected. Clean, comfortable, near the beach. Unfortunately we had to leave after only 2 nights because of an injury. The Host was gracious and extended their concern. I loved the quiet serene atmosphere of this property.

Clean, comfortable beds & good location

This was our first time to stay in the Mexico Beach area and this was a great location. My sister and her daughter met me and my daughter for quick girls trip. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. While small, everything was there that we needed. With it being just us girls, sharing a bathroom was not an issue. The water pressure was good and hot. We walked to the beach a couple of times and drove to Port San Blast one day (to the State Park - which was very nice). Plan your grocery shopping before you get there. The Piggly Wiggly is great and a 10 min drive away. There was a Dollar General Market Place also for those last minute items you may have forgotten. On our way in, we met at a local Pizza Pub and enjoyed waiting to check in to our rental. We ate at one of the local seafood restaurants Sunday night and it was crowded but tasty. We had one hiccup with the plumbing but the host sent a plumber out Sunday morning before we headed to the beach for the day. So it all worked out. Small great place to stay!

Best Spring Break Ever

The house is absolutely beautiful. It’s super close to the beach and is well worth it! The host was easy to communicate with and very friendly. If you have to stay somewhere in the Mexico Beach/ Port St. Joe area, this is the place. There were 4 people in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Cute house and good location

The cottage was super cute and the location was great. We booked this house for our girls weekend because of the pool. Unfortunately the ladder was in very bad condition and we could not access the pool. We booked the house over a month in advance. It looked like the ladder had been on its last leg for months. Overall we liked the house but was disappointed to not be able to use the pool. We did contact the property manager and he was unable to have the ladder replaced during our stay.

Birthday getaway

Took my grandkids and girlfriend for a weekend getaway. The place was super nice not a far walk to the beach. Everything you need is provided by host. This is the first time I have stayed using a Verbo and I am quite impressed. Thanks for a good first impression. Definitely will stay again!

Spring Break

My friends and I loved our spring break trip to this adorable cottage. We are college students and wanted to find something affordable that was a short walk to the beach. This home was perfect! Our favorite part was sitting on the porch to watch the sunrise and sunset.

Absolutely awesome place!!

We have stayed in several MB homes and this cottage is one of our favorites! Its extremely clean, very well equipped, on a very quiet side strret, and only a short walk to the beach. The property manager was very quick to respond to any questions we had, from before we booked it and throughout our visit. We will be booking this one again!
