Buena ubicación, próxima a la playa y a su vez tranquila, alejada de la zona comercial.Disponer de una plaza de aparcamiento es un plus, permite visitar pueblos y playas cercanos.El apartamento es muy luminoso y moderno. Bien equipado. Particularmente echamos en falta buenas almohadas en lugar de blandos cojines.Excelente comunicación con el propietario.Según nuestra experiencia, muy recomendable.

Great Location, Terrible Host.

Great, oceanside location, but unit maintenance and communications with the host were very poor. Our first experience was that the main door keypad was broken and another resident had to let us in so that we could get our keys. In the unit there were no information/instructions about the unit or surrounding area, the air conditioner was dripping water onto the TV table, there was no hairdryer or clothes dryer (per the listing), the toaster was broken, the ironing board was broken, a door handle was broken, and the shower didn't drain well. On the first 2 days Joao (the host) responded to messages, but then stopped. We told him of all the issues we were having, but none were resolved during our 5 night stay. He ordered a hairdryer and toaster and then complained that we weren't at home when a delivery was attempted. Firstly, we are on vacation, secondly he said that a delivery time was not known, and thirdly he said that he would talk to the 'door lady' to accept the delivery. Also, I asked him 3 times how to dispose of garbage, but no response. Also, be aware that road noise and morning seagulls mean that sleeping is difficult unless the windows are closed. With only 1 air conditioner in the living room, bedroom doors need to be left open when the windows are closed. I would never stay there again. This is unfortunate because the unit was modern, spacious, mostly comfortable, and had a great location. A good host makes all the difference.

Sehr schöne Tage dort verbracht. Schön sauberer Strand, angenehmes Wasser. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe, wo man sehr gut Fischgerichte essen kann. Gerne wieder.

A very comfortable apartment walking distance from the beach and the pier (with ferries to nearby towns). The only (small) thing we didn't like was that the shower leaked too much water - if the lip on the base was a bit higher this might help. Overall we would love to book here again on our next visit to the area!

Schöner Urlaub

Die Wohnung ist angenehm dezent eingerichtet. Es gibt ausreichend Platz, man kann hier gut zu dritt oder zu viert Urlaub machen. In der Küche haben uns ein paar Sachen gefehlt (Müllbeutel, ein Abtropfsieb für Pasta) und auch nur Rolle Toilettenpapier erscheint etwas knapp bemessen. Die Umgebung ist schön. Die Wohnung liegt am ruhigen Ende der Strandpromenade, alles, was man braucht, ist fußläufig erreichbar.

Brilliant Holiday

Excellent location overlooking the marina, harbour and beach. First class restaurants within walking distance and away from the more commercial areas in Praia da Rocha. We loved our stay in the apartment.

Enjoying the Algarve

Great views in every direction! We were able to tour different Algarve beach towns from this central location but the best was right at our door. Walking distance to the beach and all of the restaurants. Convenient to the boat tours. Only negative was the washer/dryer that had no instructions. And bring extra supplies! This is true with all rentals. Aldi is close for shopping.

10 day Stay

This is a great holiday location. It's at the end of the main strip right at Pria da Rocha which is absolutely beautiful but can be very windy!! We stayed May 21 -31 so still low season and pretty quiet. The view from the apartment is beautiful. It was convenient to have parking included. There are also plenty of restaurants, bakeries and groceries within walking distance. For me personally, the area was a bit to touristy but the location was central for my husband and I as we are searching for a retirement home. Being in portimao we could drive to all the surrounding towns easily. The only negatives I would say was the bathroom is a bit small. The rain shower was great and is very big but the opening is right in front of the toilet making it a bit hard getting in and out. Also the washing machine was not very good. You would be better to go to a local laundry mat to wash and dry. There were a few in the area. Suggestions to improve on: Proper wine glasses... this is portugal afterall. Provide some basic amenities like at least a couple of garbage bags and at l an extra roll of toilet paper :) Overall I think its a great place holiday home. Thank you Joao!

We will be back…

This apartment is just lovely in every way. The location is perfect-on a popular street but at the end of the street so it is quieter. However, the location is perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants, marina and shops. The view from the apartment is spectacular. You can see the Marina from one side and the beach and fort from the other. The interior is clean, comfortable and so bright with so many windows (windows are all equipped with black out shades). The kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare meals. I got a bit lost trying to find the apartment, but the manager replied to us right away and gave us some landmarks that were close by. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent Appartment although would benefit from renewing pillows and adding a few essentials in the kitchen such as a proper coffee machine. The free parking at the property is a huge plus in Portimao. The Appartment is a 3 min walk to the beach (view of the beach and the nearby marina). Communication with Jorge excellent!

This was an absolutely fantastic place to stay during her holiday in Portimao. the views were spectacular and the apartment was very clean and well furnished. it was also right around the corner from the beach and the boardwalk. if we come back to Portimao in the future, we would absolutely love to stay here.

Amazing holiday

This was an amazing stay- starting from the host being so responsive and accommodating, the beautiful apartment as pictured, comfortable beds, good wifi, well stocked kitchen, parking, bus stop to town outside the door, easy walk to huge beach and most importantly beautiful views from every window and balcony!
