“Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again”

“Fell View provided us with the perfect home from home to return to after a long day walking on the fells. We really appreciated the calm feel of the cottage, the impressive hot shower and extremely comfortable bed. Parking was easy and we enjoyed eating outside in glorious May sunshine on the smart decked area. The utility space/boot room also came in really useful for all our walking gear! “The cottage is quirky with exposed wooden beams in the upstairs rooms. Suited us fine for a three night stay. Spotlessly clean and in a quiet location. The Chalet tea rooms does a very nice breakfast and is right next door. Keswick is an easy walk of about a mile.There is no village shop.”
