âWe had a great stay in the 2 bedroom unit. great set up and was super clean. Loved the proximity to the shopping area and restaurants. Only issue was the front door lock, noticed a lot of the other people were leaving the lock open. Would stay here again â
âThe Blind Tiger was a gem. It was convenient and private enough to enjoy with staff available 24/7 with and questions. The room, lobby and all areas were immaculate and brilliantly arranged. I would definitely go again!â
âWe traveled for our 25th wedding anniversary! We loved the history of the Blind Tiger!! Love the billiards room and the mix of modern and antiques!
Our only suggestion would to be to add a fan for some air flow. :) â
âFantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again.â

âI love old historic inns and this one was a nice surprise with the unique design and old architecture. It was an easy walk to the waterfront, and so convenient to have parking included. â
âOur only negative was the noise level from rooms above. The type of flooring conducts noise more easily than carpet. I do appreciate the ability to clean these floors over carpeting though.â
âThe location of this property makes shopping and dining very walkable. While the overnight parking is pricey it is competitive with the options in the area. The pool is a nice option for the kids to spend some time. The breakfast is convenient and tasty. Our biggest complaint though was the beds were not comfortable. They are in need of a refresh or replacement.â
