I used to frequent these cottages when I was a child to young adulthood. Coming back to stay as a grown adult and seeing that not much has been updated since then was a bit disappointing. Especially since they’re charging thrice as much. I understand that you can’t beat the location being right in the beach. All the surfaces were dirty from the dresser drawers to the shelves and closet. Webs and spiders everywhere. The air conditioner sounded like it had a broken muffler. There is a dead deer head mounted on the outside porch wall clearly absorbing all the outside elements.
The shower is so small and the curtain sticks to you while you’re in it. The bathroom floor is soft from moisture damage.
It’s directly across from the beach which is awesome but at least update and maintain the cottages your guests are staying in.
