A Little More About The Space:

This themed guest suite is the entire downstairs of a home. You will enter through left garage bay, which will also be yours to use during your stay. In addition, you will have private access to use the front yard lawn at your leisure with beautiful views of Mt. Hood on a clear day (we provide a blanket in case you want to enjoy a picnic).

There is a queen bed in the bedroom and there is a couch that folds out into a small, full-size bed in the living room area. While the space can comfortably sleep 3 adults, it could also easily sleep 2 adults and 2 younger children. Sound machines and blackout curtains are available in both rooms.

Although you will not be "locked" in your suite, you will have the option to partake in an escape room adventure that we have built into the space. In your arrival text, there will be directions for how to participate in the adventure, if you wish to do so. We will be available to provide assistance if you get stumped or run into issues. On average, it takes around an hour to complete the quest.

The space is great for a quick weekend getaway to Portland, an overnight "staycation", or a longer-term stay if you work remotely and want to explore a new place.

Please note:
- The two TVs in the space have a variety of apps offered, but you will need to provide your own logins.
- We do live in the upstairs of the home, so you will likely hear some muted walking and talking from time to time. We do our best to be respectful with our noise levels when we have guests, especially between the hours of 10pm and 8am.

My favorite stay anywhere!

I want to tell everyone to stay here and I want to keep this treasure a secret so that it is available the next time I'm in the Portland area. It is that good. You have got to do the escape room! It is professional quality. So cool!

Perfect!

This was perfect for my husband and I and our one year old. Everything was clean and the little details with how things were organized in the drawers and cupboards really made it stand out. And the escape room was really fun. My husband and I did it while the baby slept. It is an easy level room but it is legit with all the bells and whistles of a real escape room. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely stay here again!

A fun place to stay

The property is in the nice and attractive smaller town of West Linn, convenient to Portland. So much better than staying in a $400 hotel in the big city and having to wade through trash in downtown Portland. Everything was as represented by the owners. Clean and quiet. The extra touch is the escape room game. Of course we got stuck after several stages. Since I'm one of those people who refuses to ask for directions, we didn't bug the owners for clues. ;-) We've simply resolved to stay again to solve the rest of the mystery. Kudos to the owners who have constructed the challenging and detailed game! Note that the property does not have a full kitchen but a kitchenette, so you won't want to plan on creating a fancy gourmet dinner. It was irrelevant to us, since there was plenty of coffee, a fridge, microwave etc., and with our visiting schedule we mostly had only breakfast and lunch at home.

Absolutely fabulous, I could easily live there

It was incredible. We loved every bit of it, from the welcome gifts of snacks and chocolate, to the spectacular views in the evening. It was perfect, and we loved it. I would love to return with my family one day, they would also love it. 5 stars, all absolutely perfect.

Awesome place to stay!!!

I reserved my stay here for the quality of the living conditions that were shown, but was I completely wrong? Everything by far exceeded all of my expectations!!! The quality of the amenities was the best that I have stayed at in the past several months! The bed and the bathroom were top quality! What surprised me the most was the safe room experience! OMG ... The jungle music, jungle walls and cool tent structures across the ceiling really intrigued me. Of course, I had to look under the hat and read the first clue! Unfortunately for me, it was late and I had work early in the morning. What I did do, was tell everyone in the area that if they were looking to have the best stay-cation that they needed to stay here with their children! Abigail thank you very much for hosting me!

Perfect Cambodian stay!

Breathtaking

If you need a place to stay that's reasonably priced, delightfully furnished, with a generous host...and gives you a memorable experience???then this is a paradise to you. Gladly would book again. This was lovely.

Mysteriously Wonderful!

We had a great time! The escape room mystery was just hard enough; we took our whole 4 days to solve it slowly and savor it. We cannot say enough about how fun and clever it was!! Abby was a wonderful hostess and dealt with us changing the amount of people very well, even though we made the change only hours before we arrived. The place was very nice, beds very comfortable, everything clean. Our only problem was that our Hyundai Sante Fe barely fit in the garage but we solved it by closing the passenger sideview mirror and one of us getting out before the car pulled in. We loved the access with the garage door, though! Most convenient parking ever and no keys to worry about. We will highly recommend it!
