This charming 38 m2 mezzanine-style house blends rustic character with modern comfort, creating an inviting space perfect for a relaxing getaway. Set against beautifully textured white stone walls, the interior features warm wooden accents, including the staircase and mezzanine railing, which harmonise with the soft, neutral palette.

The open-plan living area is homely furnished with a cosy couch, coffee table, and TV. The TV has over 100 channels available, and the apartment offers high-speed internet to ensure you stay connected!

A small dining nook with a wooden table beside the stairs is under a hanging pendant light, perfect for quiet meals or morning coffee.

The compact kitchen is cleverly tucked into a corner and fully equipped, showcasing decorative tile work that adds a touch of charm and colour.

Upstairs, the mezzanine level provides a snug sleeping area, including a comfortable queen bed and multiple storage spaces. It is an ideal retreat for guests seeking a cosy home base in the heart of the city.

The bathroom has all the amenities you need to freshen up, including clean towels and complimentary toiletries.

Cleaning will be done before your anticipated arrival.

Massarelos, located along the Douro River in Porto, is a picturesque neighbourhood with a unique mix of history, culture, and riverside charm. Known for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views, it's home to the iconic Palácio de Cristal gardens, where visitors can enjoy winding paths, fountains, and panoramic river and city skyline vistas. The house is situated near a charming path that leads directly up to Palácio de Cristal. The tourist tram stop for exploring the city and the seaside area of Foz is also located right in front of the street.

The area is dotted with elegant 19th-century buildings, museums, and traditional azulejo-covered facades that reflect Porto’s rich architectural heritage.

Beyond its scenic appeal and excellent transport links, Massarelos offers a slower-paced, local vibe that many travellers appreciate. You’ll find cosy cafés, neighbourhood restaurants, and small galleries that give the area a warm and authentic feel. For everyday needs, the Continente supermarket is also conveniently located within a 5-minute walk along the riverside. Whether strolling along the river, enjoying a sunset from the gardens, or easily hopping on a tram to explore the rest of the city and the coast, Massarelos provides a lovely balance of charm and convenience.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest bus and train station, Igreja de Massarelos, is just a 4-minutes walk.

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is a 20-minute drive from the property.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
