The apartment is located in Vila Nova de Gaia, in Oliveira do Douro, a traditional and mainly residential neighbourhood that offers an authentic local experience away from the most touristic areas. Set within a private condominium, the property provides a calm and secure environment, with access to a shared patio for outdoor relaxation.

From here, you are a short drive from central Vila Nova de Gaia, including the riverside areas along the Douro and the main urban hubs of the city. Porto city centre is also easily reachable by car or public transport, making it convenient to explore both cities while staying in a quieter residential setting.

The surrounding area is practical and well-served, with local cafés, bakeries, supermarkets, and everyday shops within a short distance, ensuring comfort and convenience during your stay. It is a typical Gaia neighbourhood where local life is present and tourism is minimal.

Whether you are visiting for work or leisure, this location is ideal for guests who value tranquillity, authenticity, and good access to both Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto, while staying outside the busy tourist zones.

Public transport options in the area are moderate but not immediate:

For greater convenience when exploring Gaia, visiting Porto, or moving between areas, a car is recommended. Street parking is limited and subject to availability in the surrounding area.

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.

￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.

￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.

￫ Check-in time starts from 16:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided.

￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.

￫ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.

￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.

￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly utility bills exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
