Be aware!
Great location in Porto. Checking in, the management company gave us incorrect apartment number…trying to enter someone else’s apartment. At 4:03 pm checkin, apartment hadn’t been cleaned & they asked us to leave. We missed a business meeting & my birthday dinner. Elevator didn’t work & my husband who has a bad back (& why we chose this apartment) had to carry up his suitcase 5 flights…They were teeeible to work with…be aware if booking.

Quality apartment in excellent location
The apartment decor is a very high standard. Great location for restaurants a few minutes away. A few minutes walk to the riverside. Apartment is light and airy with full height windows, double glazing and shutters. We did not need to use the A/C but it looked substantial. Basic kitchen which is fine for breakfast and simple dinners. A pan stand would be useful for juggling pans when using the 2 ring hotplate. Easy walk to Sao Bento station, luggage storage facilities nearby (e.g. Bounce). The lift to 4th floor was much loved. There is some metro construction right outside, we thought that was an overall benefit because there was less traffic passing by when the windows were fully open!!The review forces you to review "communication with the property manager" but there really wasn't any. It was all done my automated email and code entry which was fine.

View of the river
The apartment was perfect! Location was easy to walk all over central Porto and riverfront. We had a view to the river and the moon was full during our stay. Loved it!

Certainly a lovely stay!
We lucked out on this location. Coinciding with the Sao Joao made our stay even more enjoyable. View directly down one street to the main gathering point on the river and fireworks. Within mere feet are all the shops grocery stores and restaurants you could possibly need. Well appointed furnishings and great AC! Balcony out the French doors is great for people watching and laundry drying! Very secure and quiet, despite the construction going on underground on the street. Easy walk to train station and other notable sites. Hope to return in the near future!

Location!!!
Great apartment in perfect location. In the middle of everything. Room was exactly as pictured. The view is beautiful from the balcony. The building is old on the outside and completely modern on the inside with an elevator. There was some construction in front of the building as they are expanding the metro but it wasn’t an issue. Loud 1 night… closing the shutters helps keep the noise down.
