âThis was an experience not to be missed. Our hosts, Anna and Ian made us welcome in their home and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The breakfast was as good as we would ever expect. The room was perfect and we had the luxury of their lounge and garden to use. A very professional pair and they are very good at what they do and provide. 11 out oof 10 on all counts. Superb. â

âCheck in was quick and easy, lady on reception was friendly and professional. Rooms were spacious and clean (apart from an old sock being found in corner of one of the two rooms). Loved the large, comfy bath towels. Beds very comfy. Will stay again. â
âGreat location, great room, the only thing that let the hotel down was our evening meal which was not at the standard we had previously experienced and staff managing restaurant on the evening did let it down. Saying that, breakfasts were fabulous, and otherwise great experience and will definitely stay again.â
âMycket trevlig pub med trevlig Ă€garinna. GĂ„r inte att Ă€ta pĂ„ puben men relativt nĂ€ra till hyfsade matstĂ€llen. Rummet bra med egen dusch och toalett utanför rummet. FrĂ€scht och bra. Lite problem med att parkera MC, endast parkering pĂ„ gata, gratis pĂ„ natten annars max 2 timmar, nitiska och mĂ„nga P-vakter sĂ„ gĂ„r inte att chansa. Mycket bra Full english breakfast.â
âI liked most things. The bed was one of the most comfortable on which I have slept. The bath was really nice, long and comfortable. The hot water was hot whenever I wanted it. I ate at the restaurant three evenings. The food was reasonably good but I feel that apart from the jam sponge and custard, the puddings were trying too hard and were too complex to sound attractive. I think that simpler puddings would be far better. I liked two of my main courses, the sausages and mash, and the Cowboy...

âStayed 2 nights while visiting family in the area, found the Red Lion through an internet search, reviews were good and the price was reasonable, so we booked. Very happy we did, all the comments from the good reviews we found to be accurate. The only negative comment I could make is that, by necessity electric showers are fitted and they are a bit whimpish! You to run around to get wet â
âThis is my second stay at this hotel, and hopefully not the last! The rooms were spotless, facilities are great, top spec bathroom etc etc. The staff are friendly and informative, and to top it all you get breakfast included! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gorgeous hotel to anyone travelling to Lincoln. â
