“This property has all the things - a beach front, great view, great quiet location, and wonderful amenities. A week here would be great to relax - a full kitchen to cook, laundry, and all the fixin’s for going to the beach to help you. What a great place! We hope to visit again!”

“It is true this is off the beaten track and very quiet except the dogs barking at 3am. Unfortunately when we arrived the bed was crawling with ants. there were 2 holes in the wall that the ants were crawling out of. The property manager's solution was to use a can of raid and duck tape the holes. We had booked for 5 nights but left after 1 night. We found much more comfortable accommodations in Tamarindo. “Ben was an amazing host. Playa Avellanas is very rural, and Ben guided us in right to his gate, no problem. Ben is super attentive, and was checking in with us frequently. He saved us a lot of money with his spot on recommendations regarding excursions and restaurants. The boardwalk to the beach, and the beach are amazing. Restaurants in the area - off the charts!”
