Hotell nära Potter Section House State Historical Site

“I booked this hotel because of the name Wyndham and its reputation. The front desk was very helpful as were the people who took us to the airport. I just found the hotel in general pretty rundown with my room kind of dirty. There were crumbs on the floor and the furniture was pretty dusty and dirty. I was a single woman and would not recommend walking around the area as it seemed a little sketchy to me. The Lobby area even though it has a great bear on display lacks any Alaskan ambiance. “We didn’t even check in. We pulled up to the house and it looked scetchy!!! Dirty rolled up carpet impeding the door to enter the apartment, broken down car with broken window in the driveway. Neighbor kids running all over the place. Not at all how it was portrayed on your site!!! Such a disappointment!!!”

“We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We stayed two nights before retunning home from Australia. The staff the whole time we stayed were just so friendly and helpful. The room was a great size, the location was perfect and the price really great value. Highly recommend!”

“We loved everything! Pleasant helpful staff, beautiful full breakfast every morning until 9:30 M-F and breakfast until 10:30am Sat and Sun. Nice large laundry FREE for guests FYI Walmart is literally across the small road to buy trail size laundry soap. The front desk does offer laundry soap to buy but Walmart has it for only $1.17 a load when you go to the travel size section in Walmart. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast for few days in a row had the same egg with cheese...

“Cute little cabins with tiny pond. Clean shared toilet and shower. Do be deterred by the name The “Dirty Skillet” restaurant on property was amazing! Cute outdoor restaurant with a wonderful ambience and delicious food.”

“This was a piss poor hotel that claims to be higher end. So this gives them the audacity to charge us a RIDICULOUS price, PLUS a resort fee….. which we used zero of the services. Garbage service by the personnel there. They were cussing and swearing behind the front desk. I also asked for a cup of coffee in the morning and it was hot water. At least produce a decent cup of coffee for the extra you charged me…..”

“Upon check in there was food all over the floor and the room smelled. The front desk staff and house keeping were amazing and super helpful. The hotel is a bit dated which is fine but almost everything in the room was broken. Door didn’t shut properly, ac cover was hanging off, lamp shade was mangled. The sheets are HORRIBLE paper thin and little pill balls all over., it felt like sleeping in sandpaper.. for over 300 for the night I expected a bit more. The motel 6 is nicer in my opinion”
