Oceanfront Cottage På gränsen Jorden, St Johns

RedHouseNL, 21 Castella Lane, är en vacker, mysig havet stuga uppe på klippor Pouch Cove Newfoundland, med utsikt över N Atlanten. På övervåningen erbjuder 2 sovrum (drottning bäddar) med otrolig havsutsikt, en liten sittgrupp för kaffe eller behandlingen inför och ett badrum med badkar / dusch. Nedervåningen är ett fullt utrustat kök, vardagsrum med braskamin, en "studie" med böcker och en fullstor futon som kan vika ut till en 5: e gäst, och en andra badrum utanför studien med ett stall dusch. Vardagsrummet är ljust, öppet och rymliga, som erbjuder en otrolig utsikt över havet. Vid sidan av vardagsrummet finns en matsal med stora rustika bord bra för måltider, spel och jag vågar säga arbete ?!
Huset har också en stor däck på baksidan, med 4 Adirondack stolar att njuta av landskapet och kanske få en skymt av valar och delfiner cruising genom. En sido däck utanför matsalen är utrustad med två fåtöljer för mer av samma!
Steg från East Coast Trail. Kort bilresa till lokala stränder. 25 minuters bilresa till centrala St Johns.

We Loved Red House!

Every aspect of our stay was wonderful—communication with Chris and Kelly, ocean views from the deck, bedrooms, living room and dining room, ease of check-in and check out, fully equipped kitchen, availability of washer and dryer. The views really deliver!

Had an excellent stay! Property was clean and well stocked. Easy drive to St Johns Airport and downtown. The views were unbeatable....we even saw a couple of whales in the cove one night! Definitely one of the best places we've stayed, hope to come back again when we aren't doing tours in town so we can just enjoy the views the whole time.

Lovely Place in Pouch Cove

Top 10 most beautiful place on earth

The Red House is a gift to your soul. The peacefulness envelopes you upon arrival. The views off of the back deck and surrounding community are breathtaking. Comfortable, peaceful house overlooking the sea

This was our second stay at the Red House and as delightful as the first. The house is light and calming and generously equipped with everything you could possibly need. Proximity to St John’s and the Irish loop is a plus but the highlight is coming ‘home’ to enjoy sitting on the deck - with a book, a coffee, a glass of wine, binoculars to take in the birds and the whales. Thanks again to Kelly for her warm welcome - we hope to be back again.

Perfect Getaway

Had a stay in mid September--lots of amazing weather to experience: hot, cool, stormy, calm, hazy, crisp. Enjoyed the deck and sun and the cozy fireplace. So close to the East Coast Trail for great hikes. Had friends come for some meals and it was a great space to visit and enjoy. It feels remote yet safe. Really comfy beds--but older or little folks might want a step ladder to climb into them! Kelly and Chris were so welcoming and understanding about a hiccup with VRBO. It's a wonderful home in a perfect location. I would definitely come again!

Could not have been better

If you want a nice house on a nice property in a nice town and a friendly responsive owner, this is a the house for you. The views in every direction are breathtaking. Pouch Cove is a very walkable small town with friendly people. The house is very well equipped including extra jackets and Bose bluetooth speakers that I paired with my phone daily. A shout out to Sharon who did a fantastic job of cleaning the house before our arrival. My only regret is that our stay wasn't longer.

Icebergs, whales, eagle…Oh My!

Thank you Chris and Kelly. The Red House was perfect!! We enjoyed our evenings by the fire and watching the whales and icebergs from the deck. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen so we could spend several evenings cooking dinner and relaxing after beautiful hikes that we walked to from the house. Cozy house, great view, all the amenities

We enjoyed our stay at the red house. The views were fantastic (when the fog cleared), the house was cozy and well equipped, beds were super comfortable, the only thing we didn't have was lobster crackers! Pouch Cove is pretty much the last stop heading north on the Avalon Peninsula, so it's pretty quiet, exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing vacation. Home away from home

The Red House was really a home away from home. We loved every minute there. The house had everything we could have wished for. We had a little hurricane for 2 days and were just watching the weather and the sea from a very comfortable living room. We can highly recommend a stay there and will come back for sure.
