Gîte Montgaudon



We look forward to welcoming you to our Burgundy farmhouse, beautifully situated with stunning views over the Morvan hills. The gîte offers modern comforts and features a living room with beamed ceiling, fireplace, and original French floor tiles. Next to the living room is the main bedroom with a comfortable box spring bed and a bathroom with toilet. From the bedroom window, you can enjoy views of the large enclosed garden and the hills. A private entrance leads to the second spacious bedroom, which also has its own bathroom with toilet.



Bed linen is included. Bath towels are not provided, so please remember to bring your own! If you use the central heating, costs apply and are payable on site. Use of the pellet stove is free. You can buy pellets yourself at any supermarket.



The Morvan Regional Nature Park, where our village is located, is a protected hilly area with valleys, forests, and large lakes—ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. A walking trail starts at the gîte and leads you through beautiful landscapes and past picturesque farms. On foot or by bike, you can explore the surrounding Burgundy villages, known for their lively brocantes.



Gîte Montgaudon is also perfect for various activities. Set off directly from the gîte on a mountain bike for marked routes, or climb the winding roads by racing bike. In Saint-Honoré-les-Bains (5 km) and Moulins Engilbert (10 km), you’ll find several restaurants to enjoy a Burgundy meal and a good glass of wine. Burgundy also offers many historic towns such as Autun, Nevers, Vézelay, Dijon, and Beaune—perfect for culture lovers.
