Just 2.5 hours from NYC this vacation home is located 1700 feet above sea level, thus providing outstanding mountain top views and spectacular light pollution free night viewing of the stars. Only 12 miles to Ski Windham (19 minute drive) - Stay near the ski slope without the high ski slope rental prices - plus you'll feel like the only people on top of your very own mountain top.

The immense 800 square foot deck is a sight in itself. Makes the perfect cozy spot to cook on the barbecue, eat, sip coffee and feel the warmth of the propane fire pit as you snuggle with your loved one on the outdoor furniture. One level is covered in case of rain or snow.

You'll have the entire house to yourself. All the rooms you will have access to are on the first floor. Kitchen, bathroom and living room where you'll sleep in a queen sized bed. (the upstairs part of the house is closed off).

We having been renting this house for past 14 years and have hosted over 1500 guests at this property. We were featured in Hudson Valley Magazine - twice! Our goal is to ensure everyone has an amazing, pleasant stay.

There is basic unlimited wi-fi internet with modest speeds and 42-inch flat screen TV. Please bring your computer and watch movies from your device. However, we do not provide cable and streaming isn't recommended since the wi-fi is provided by satellite internet (much slower than what you are probably used to in your city). Best to have your movie already downloaded on your device. We provide HDMI cable.

There is a full kitchen with electric stove, microwave, toaster oven, electric water kettle and coffee maker.

There's a football sized backyard, working farms can be seen just by walking along our very infrequently traveled dirt road.

The house is 26 miles from Exit 21 off New York State Thru-Way, Rt 23 and then Rt 145.
