“Our room was very clean. Decor is mountain cabin rustic. Bathroom was very modern. One problem. Our room had a window on the door and the outside lights were too bright for sleeping. We had to cover the window with a towel. To that effect, I will say that the outside area is very well lit and we felt secure. The grounds were a bit dirty. “The bed was awesome, and the hot water lasted a long time. The retro was very cool. We will definitely be back. And you can park , right in front of your room. The ice container for each room is a mini cooler to keep ur ice. It has everything you need, for your bathroom, like shampoo, body soap, a hair dryer. Comes with iron and ironing board. It comes with a towel to clean your shoes, if you decide to go hiking. Thanks for everything!!”

“This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...

Super kind & pleasant employees were more than happy to give recs of nearby destinations and adventures... all were polite to answer so many of our questions…was neat learning the history of the Inn, too. Building and grounds were so clean and quaint! Rooms were spacious and comfortable… Felt like stepping back into a different time & place; so many great little corners to relax, read, enjoy coffee and/or a drink. So close to great trail heads and fun towns, but...

“Everything was excellent apart from the garden furniture it was nice to have a private outdoor space but the cushions on the garden furniture were dirty and some were missing this we thought let the property down that otherwise was perfect”

“Nice place for families — big double-beds rooms. Very super tiny gym. OK breakfast buffet, but so much waste 😱 friendly staff. Rather poor bar offer — better to go out to eat and drink. Well situated to go skiing or explore the mountain trails around, depending on the season. ”

“This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs.”
