    Our guest suite is the perfect location to come and unwind. Quiet, peaceful and just steps from the Diamond J horse ranch. A 5 minute drive to Lake on the Mountain resort, Picton downtown and Sandbanks beach. Just 3 minutes from the Glenora ferry.
    Sit outside on the private covered porch and enjoy the company of the many birds, bunnies and deer that like to frequent our place!

The Loyalist Bird House was a great, super cozy, so clean and welcoming, the entire space is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The hosts are very easy to connect with and are always available when needed. Only a 6 minute drive to Picton Main street or a 3 minute drive to Lake on the Mountain...so convenient and a great space to escape and chill after a day at the vineyards or a day at the beach. I highly recommend this place, no doubt you'll enjoy it too.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Location is excellent - it is just outside of Picton and was central to multiple wineries, Sandbanks provincial park and The Lake on the Mountain. We utilized the season pass at The Park to do some hiking before heading out to the wineries. Facilities well appointed. Beds are excellent. The Host , Dawn, was extremely responsive with any questions I had before and during my stay. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at The Loyalist Bird House! Ron and Dawn are amazing hosts. They are friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. The check-in process was quick, smooth, and completely hassle-free. The place was spotless and very well maintained. The sheets were fresh and clean, and everything was exactly as described. My kids absolutely loved staying here and felt right at home. It was comfortable, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Thank you, Ron and Dawn, for your excellent hospitality. We highly recommend The Loyalist Bird House and would definitely love to stay here again!

All bedding smelled freshly washed. Very easy communication with the host and quick to respond (we forgot cooking oil and Dawn came running with a bottle for us).Quiet space, clean, surrounded by beautiful nature that makes the coffee on the porch a perfect morning. Well located for arrival from Ottawa with the Glenora Ferry just a minute away. Perfect for cyclists !

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time at the Loyalist Bird House. It is in an excellent location to enjoy all the sights around the area. The place is spacious with a very modern kitchen with everything you need, comfortable bedrooms and lovely porch to sit outside and enjoy the gardens and birds. We would happily stay here again.

Great spot for a weekend getaway!

We loved staying at Dawn & Ron’s place! Great location, a short drive to Picton, beaches, parks, and views. The unit was clean, well-stocked, spacious, and comfortable! Highly recommend. :) We’ll be back for sure!

Lovely retreat

My friends and I were very impressed with Loyalist Birdhouse. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was modern and well laid out. Excellent amenities available.

This was the ideal spot for us, minutes from Picton. The property and accomodations are super cute, very private and spacious. In the warm weather there is a full front porch and front yard to enjoy. Inside the space was clean and a fun mix of new modern (kitchen and bathroom) and an older farmhouse kind of vibe with the wood and furniture. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were VERY comfortable. This spot includes all the necessary amenities plus some fun perks like a provincial park pass to use while you are there. Lake on the mountain is a sight to see. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and reached out well before we arrived as well as during our stay. We would highly recommend this listing to others!

Great first stay in the county!

My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and it made our first time in prince edward county really wonderful. It was a great location for us and had everything we needed. The hosts were very welcoming and were quick to communicate.
