“Very close to the centre, with restaurants and cafés. The self catering in the house was great too. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was a great living area downstairs too! The host, was very good. He organised an earlier time for us to get into the house and his directions were brilliant. We would definitely stay here again!”

“It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. ”

“After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? The shared bathroom, toilet paperless, was dingy and poorly lit. Some photoshop trickery must have been used for the pics of the place. “Det var med sorg jag lämnade detta hotell efter så kort vistelse. Ett i det närmaste perfekt hotell med vacker arkitektur och inredning, trevlig och hjälpsam personal (ordnade t.ex. en frukostpåse åt mig när jag behövde lämna hotellet tidigt), samt fullt med bekvämligheter. Hoppas kunna komma tillbaka hit någon gång!”

“Har aldrig checkat in på hotell i en bar förut. Men det hände nu. Här kommer man rakt in i baren. Här äter man frukost också. Lite trappor och prång för att ta sig till rummet. Fina rum. Bra städat. Frukost var också bra. Och ett centralt läge vid strandpromenaden.”

“Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good.
