Idyllisk stuga vid havet, nära Peggy's Cove!

  • Denna stuga ligger i ett underbart läge. Den sitter på en granitblff med utsikt över havet, med mer än 180 graders spektakulär utsikt över vattnet. Det är på 3 tunnland, och är det enda hemmet på havets sida av vägen, som försäkrar integritet och öppna vyer. Detta är främsta Nova Scotia havsfasaden. Vyerna är oöverträffade. Nytt för 2018- Nytt sovrumsvit med komplett badrum och nytt tvättstuga, diskmaskin och nya köksskåp!

    Du skulle vara i en lugn reträtt vid havet, men Halifax, en viktig internationell stad är bara 20 minuter bort! Prospektet är också cirka 10 mil från det största turistmålet i Peggy's Cove, som är en pittoresk by vid havet, med en mycket besökt fyr på en granitkust. Prospect är en fiskeby vid havet. Byn är ganska tyst, men folket är mycket vänliga och kan dela sitt livsstil med dig. Rekreation vid vattnet överflödar allt från havskayaking till segling, vattenskidåkning, motorbåt, fiske och valskådning. Det finns en två mil sträcka av outvecklade offentliga mark ("kronmark", eftersom det nominellt ägs av drottningen av England) intill stugan som är en fantastisk plats att gå, springa mountainbike eller vandra. Kusten är spektakulär att köra tillsammans med många pittoreska byar som Peggy's Cove, Lununberg, Mahone Bay och Chester i närheten. Restauranger är rikligt med läckra skaldjur. Halifax är en viktig internationell stad och har förstklassiga aktiviteter och attraktioner, inklusive keltisk musik, professionell sport och underhållning, borgens fästning, en charmig strandpromenad och ett utmärkt nattliv.

    Detta är en enkel, men snygg och bekväm stuga med alla grundläggande bekvämligheter, och sedan några, på ett spektakulärt läge. Jag uppdaterar / uppdaterar ständigt. Det har gratis Wi-Fi och kabel-TV. Ny Master Suite 2018. Nytt tvättområde 2018.
    Om du letar efter 5-stjärnigt hotell i anläggningen är detta inte för dig! Men om du vill vara omgiven av vackra havet i din privata tillflyktsort, medan du fortfarande har en stor internationell stad i närheten, kommer du att bli mycket nöjd. Stugan är bäst för 4-6 personer, men det finns ett par bäddar på den oavslutade vinden.

Exactly how I envisioned Nova Scotia. The ocean waves lapping in the front. Small fishing boats on the rocky shore. Appreciated the minimalist surroundings. Cabin clean comfortable and fits perfectly in the surroundings

Great secluded location and gorgeous ocean views next to a quiet village. Located next to the trailhead for High Head Trail, a beautiful but challenging 2-3 hour hike along the rocky coast. Kids will love it. The kitchen had everything required to cook and/or grill. Overall a beautiful location and a relaxing place to stay. Note - buy food and drinks on the way in as the closest store is about 10km, everything closes early and there are no restaurants close by.

Cozy Ocean Retreat

Our stay was wonderful. The location is fabulous and the cottage has everything we needed. We love that there were two bathrooms and the beds were very comfortable. The Crown Land nearby was great to explore. Would stay again!

Shhhh. Don’t tell.

This was our third stay here and we’re all ready to book next year. For us (and our dog), this place has absolutely everything we want in a vacation. Lovely walks and sunsets, great variety of paddling opportunities, good ocean swimming, and perfect porches to bask/read/watch the world go by.

The perfect spot!

We really enjoyed our stay at this little seaside house in Prospect! It had everything we needed, and the views were fantastic. Plus it was handy for seeing different sites. Our two pugs loved it too!

Perfect Ocean front vacation

My family and I LOVED our stay. The views are 10/10. The location was perfect for our East Coast vacation! Close enough to Halifax, Peggy’s cove, Lunenberg, Mahone Bay, for day trips. We also enjoyed exploring the waterfront and the nearby trails. We had the best time, it was hard to leave

Fantastic location. Peaceful. Relaxing. Far from the business of cities and usual tourist locations. Views are stunning. House was cozy. Would recommend this property to others wanting a quiet place to relax.Only issue was the coffee maker didn't work. We improvised.

Forget your troubles

The stay was perfect. September is a great time to experience NS. Sitting on the deck was very pleasant. Access to the crown lands was a huge positive - we didn't feel the need to leave and tourists and just walked the cliff trail each day. The accommodations were good and met our expectations and needs.

Great location

Situated right on the coastline in a nice quiet peaceful area where we could relax and unwind after a busy day out in Halifax which is conveniently only a 30 minute drive away. If looking for somewhere close to town but offering great views, and that peace away from the hassle of town, would definitely recommend. While some may consider a little rustic in nature, it perfectly met our needs and met all our expectations. A great find for us for our vacation.

Beautiful location and stay

this little cottage is sitting on the rocks of a beautiful fishing village, it was actually better and prettier than the pictures could tell. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The owner was very prompt in answering questions. I hope to come back

Views You'll Remember for a Lifetime!

This cottage setting is line no other we've ever seen. The views of the bay, waves, rocks, village are memorizing. We stayed for four days and would gladly go back again for a longer stay. The cottage would be considered rustic by some standards but honestly it doesn't matter!!!! We loved every minute of our stay. Owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions before we arrived. No need to communicate once we were there. Appreciated the privacy.

We enjoyed our stay in prospect. The area is beautiful and the people were friendly. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to messages. The house was clean, in good condition and well appointed. On the listing it listed a hot tub which we were very excited about. There wasn’t one at the property. The listing has been corrected and the host offered a little compensation for the misunderstanding. Also, when I messaged the host about the sleeping configurations (kids are at the age where they won’t sleep in the same bed) they let me know that there were twin beds in the upper ‘attic’ available. The attic was a true attic and not useable at all. This wasn’t an issue though as there was a pullout couch so our family had lots of space and was happy. I would definitely recommend this area, property and host. The view was second to none and the walking trails close by amazing. A couple of hiccups but overall a great stay.

The views will not disappoint!

We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage and surrounding area was so perfectly picturesque. We found the location convenient for day trips to Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg, and large grocery stores were not too far away. But the best part was being able to walk down to the very charming Prospect Village, or around the oceanfront trails as the sun was setting. It’s just as beautiful as the more touristy areas, but feels like you have it all to yourself. Some negatives: the bathrooms and kitchen could have been cleaned more thoroughly. You may want to pick up some bottled water, as the tap water tasted unpleasant to me. The cottage is small, but it was quite comfortable for just me and my husband. I think it would be ideal for a couple + 1 kid, but it might feel very cramped with a larger group. That being said, the location, the charm, and THE VIEWS make up for any negative. I would 100% recommend this property and I would love to come back some day.

Wow. What a location

Location, location, location. The property itself is right sized in our view, and has all the critical comforts. It lacks a few kitchen amenities (aluminum foil, plastic wrap) based on our personal rental stays in the US and Europe, but you will not be worrying about that. You will make do. A portable fan might do you well if you are in warm days, for the extra bedroom or living room. There is privacy, amazing views, the sounds of crashing waves perpetually, making for great sleep. You can swim in the cove right in front. You could bring kayaks and put them in there also. There is a nearby market with fresh veggies and baked goods, there is a restaurant at a golf course that we enjoyed twice. The nearby shore trail is amazing. We went out for sunsets most nights, and you can get quite close to crashing waves and surf. We loved this place. It’s amazing that you can be only 25 minutes outside Halifax, yet feel like you are way out. What i liked most is that Prospect is quaint, and harkens back to my memories of vacations before big money. There are no mansions, and the country has done well preserving shoreline. It’s beautiful and Morry has kept it simple and we loved it.

Private and cozy

Even though there are homes nearby, this property is extremely private and has a beautiful waterfront with views out every direction. The house itself is cozy, updated and nicely appointed. A huge benefit for us, with a dog, was the access to gorgeous seaside trails right next to the property. These trails are open to the public and we met numerous lovely people, with and without dogs. It was difficult to leave after such a relaxing time!
