Close access to Dreher Island State park with 2 boat ramps. Well appointed kitchen. Gas grill on patio. Cornhole and darts. Excellent for families, fishing, fun. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Instacart from Publix Chapin. Fifteen minutes from Chapin restaurants. Great for fishing tournaments, eco tourism, boating, paddlebording, and kayaking. Fire pit with large seating area. Whole house generator. Pontoon rentals available. Large sand beach play area. Gazebo and floating dock. Adjacent to VRBO id 9263757. Can book both for over 3 acres and room for 16. Automatic generator so constant power even if storm knocks out utility power.

This was our second time staying in this home and it was perfect, just as we remembered! The host is very responsive. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking/eating in. The home is clean and well maintained and has the best view of the lake! We will be back!

Great stay on the lake

Our stay was fantastic! I highly recommend staying here. House was great, very clean, great layout, great location. Backyard, deck and dock were all fantastic. Owner was great and communicated quickly. We are booking again for next year.

Family Wedding

Jim's place was exactly what was stated in the listing. The place was beautiful and spacious. There were a lot of extras that he had in the house that made our stay that much more enjoyable. The grounds and being on the lake, with a dock, was great and was able to have family over to enjoy. Jim was a great host and very accommodating! We will look to rent his place again!Thank you Jim!

Don’t Think Twice

If you’re wanting a spectacular view of the lake, that’s close to a boat ramp with all the amnesties and extras you could think of for a whole family with or without kids, or just two — Don’t Think Twice!!! And let’s not forget the most reliable host! This place is by far the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. If we ever come back to this area will definitely stay here again. Thanks Jim!!

Fantastic Location

Couldn't go to the mountains this year because of Helene. Had to pivot with another plan. Would a great find! This location would be a great vacation getaway anytime of the year. Will definitely be back for another vacation.

Great Stay

Home was as described. Perfect location on the lake with open water in front, dock was perfect for our boat and jet ski. Very close to boat landing which is very convenient. Host was nice and responsive with any questions leading up to our trip.

Peaceful Retreat

Another perfect stay at this beautiful and peaceful retreat! The home has a perfect layout, great for entertaining a family/ friends, but also privacy for guests in many sitting areas both inside and out. The view of the lake and dock access is unparalleled and we enjoy all the nature surrounding this lovely property. Beds super comfortable, kitchen amazing, bright home , all on one level easy for everyone. Think you again! The host always goes out of their way to accommodate and be super responsive. 2445 State Park Road Lake House

The house was right on the lake with a dock and a great wrap around porch for our group to enjoy the lake view. The house is well maintained and decorated. It has a large open living area and dining area. All the appliances were updated and in excellent working condition. Despite being a hot, summer weekend the A/C was terrific for keeping the house cooled. It was very quiet and enjoyable. I would stay there again and highly recommend it

Perfection

A lake getaway for friends. Wonderful home clean and stocked with all you need just bring the fun. Little hiccup with main TV being out but we but we didn’t let it bother our time together. Beautiful view. We rented a boat which was easy. Can’t wait to return.

Lake Paradise!

This home is absolutely amazing! We were in town for my daughter's graduation from University of SC and this home was perfect! The home is exactly as listed, and even better. The views are incredible, the rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials needed. The BBQ grill is one of the bests!! We will definitely be back.

Family gathering

This property was perfect for our family as we gathered to be near other family members in the community. From the fully stocked kitchen with an abundance of coffee makers, pots, pans, etc., to the paddleboard and kayaks and soft seating outside on the deck this place was perfect for us and we plan to come back! It is literally just outside the state park so you have quick access to great hiking trails, too.

Fishing Tournament Week

Everything about this home was ideal. We had four college anglers staying with us and they found the location to be very convenient to the ramp at Dreher Island State Park. I enjoyed walking through the park each day. The park entrance is a short 3 minute walk from the house. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out.The view of the lake is spectacular. We will definitely plan to stay here the next time we have a fishing tournament on Lake Murray.
