Our weekend stay at the Groggy Anchor was simply perfect.Built by a sea captain in the 1700's, the home has been painstakingly restored and modernized to provide all the amenities expected of 5 star accommodations, while maintaining the charm and character of a historic home.Starting with the most beautiful kitchen we've ever seen - you'll find modern appliances, navy blue cabinets, and butcherblock counters that have been paired with a stunning antique Glenwood stove that nods to the home's history. You'll find all the tools you need to make a grand meal (or just plate your takeout from Sal's).With three large bedrooms each with a modern en suite bathroom, plus an office, the home is spacious and accommodating for a larger family or group. The large living room and dining space provide ample room to relax and take in the stunning decor. Every nook and cranny has been perfectly curated with nautical art and objects that accentuate the history and charm of this home.Located in the West (best) end of Provincetown - the home is mere steps to the beach and Captain Jack's wharf and an easy 5-10 minute walk to downtown or some of the best beach hikes in Ptown. We truly loved our stay at the Groggy Anchor and cannot wait to come back.
