“Stay was decent , staff was great. But the rooms didn't have hot water again. I stayed there in January and there was no hot water. The same thing happened this time. You have to fix the hot water. Thank you”

“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

“I had such a lovely stay at this cute little studio in Puerto Carrillo. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The real highlight was the shared pool—perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or just lounging with a book. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and it was just a short drive to Playa Carrillo, which is absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a quiet, charming spot to unwind, this is it!”

“The room was very spacious and spotless. The pool was cleaned and Jennifer was responding to our txt messages within a minute. Very convenient location to Carrillo Beach and private property located up on the hill.Higly recommend,you cannot get someone better for your money. I will return and book again. ”

“This is a great property for the price. Overall I recommend this rental and would rent again. We were in an upstairs unit of a four Plex (3). No real negatives but a few FYIs. Host was super responsive. Pool is a definite plus. Good-size, super clean, there were lounge chairs but they needed padding, two large tables and chairs for all guests. Overall beautiful pool area. “The pool was the saving grace for this property. I would not go anywhere in this region without a pool, it was wonderful to escape the heat and humidity. We were lucky as we were alone in this complex for 10/14 days. That was wonderful as when other units were occupied they had kids that lived in the pool so you never had time to enjoy the pool when others were there. We never had more than 1 family there besides us at a time, but the property has 5 units, so if all 5 were occupied, probably not...
