“Glad I booked here -- it's definitely one of the better hotels in White Beach. Friendly service, good A/C, warm showers, security, location. Brought my own pocket wifi. Wish I had booked dive in advance - they didn't have availability for beginner by the time I showed up. Notes on White Beach area: - good LTE service - known for night life, water activities, etc. If you want more quiet, western resort style, sabang is better area. - 20 minute ride to town, i.e. the closest ATM.”

“If you don't enjoy city life and want to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, this place is perfect. Although it's a bit far from the beach, they do provide transportation. The ambiance is soul-soothing, with a pleasant morning breeze, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere. You'll enjoy the perfect sight of mountain hills on one side and the sea on the other. Cafe Marco was a step above most of the food establishments, as was the Dawei Tea House, both linked to the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. “There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable.
