“Fun place to stay so close to the Melk Abbey. No lift or AC but opened windows at night and the provided fan made the room very comfortable. Quaint hotel and town. Easy access to the Abbey and walking distance to the Danube. ”

“Very quiet, spacious, clean and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was delicious and well appointed. Sunday in Amstetten many things are closed. This hotel is next to a very nice nature walk loop around the city”

The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful with indications due to my late arrival and also where to park, provide me with refreshment drink.
Breakfast was modest. I pre-booked for two people, finally I went alone but they told me that I had to pay breakfast and taxes for two. I waited for 20 minutes during the checkout to receive any positive answer but I lost my time. Not flexible at all.”
“Hotellet låg mitt i skogen på ett berg. Bra för utomhus aktiviteter inte mycket annat.
Hotellet har vattenlek och spa inomhus, ganska bra anpassat för barn och familjen, rummen var så bra designat attdom var underbara och hotellet är nybyggd.”
“Hotel ohne Restaurant liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Parkplätze im Freien vorhanden. Restaurant Babenbergerhof ist gleich nebenan und gehört auch dazu. Frühstück war auch sehr gut.”
“Mycket bra läge precis vid Donau med helt fantastisk utsikt över floden och klostret i Melk om du har turen att få ett rum med balkong som vi fick. Dock störande trafik från TIDIG morgon eftersom genomfartsleden går mellan floden och hotellet. Kyrkklockorna från kyrkgrannen får också spatt kl 07.00. Detta är alltså inget hotell för den morgontrötte. Hotellet har en enastående bra frukost. Den som gillar kallskurna delikatesser får verkligen sitt lystmäte här. Det finns också massor med annat...
“If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me.”
