“Me and my fiancee checked in at the Hotel Clarion Kiribathgoda. After about 45 minutes - 1 hour in the lobby we finally got our room (Trouble with the hotels.com booking). When we finally got the room we weren't satisfied with the standard (Dirty, a lot of water dripping from the AC and the smell of smoke in the whole room). I went to the reception and asked the staff if we could swith to a better room and that I was willing to pay the difference. I was then told that the hotel was completely...

“Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. ”
