“This is a resort so expect lots of children at weekends and holidays. However this charming hotel was perfectly adequate for us. If you are of a sensitive disposition, then the noise from the ventilation might drive you nuts, but any seasoned India traveller should be carrying ear plugs on them as standard which ameliorates the situation!”

We loved the wood burning fire place in the room as well. Breakfast was really good and staff at breakfast place was very friendly and courteous and service was top notch. “If you are going to Ooty i-India is the place you should stay at. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable, the food they serve are amazing and made out of local goodies, and the view is spectacular. The place is a few km outside the city, but there are buses that will take you there in 5 minutes. We were well taken care of by the staff and we enjoyed a breakfast buffet with a good variety of dishes. The Junior Suite that we were provided was big, well equiped and clean.”

I wish the property were renting scooters to go to city and sight seeing. Auto or cab is the only mode of transportation. Majority of the residents have their own car.
