“The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. ”

“We had not so high expectation on this resort because of the low price but it was really great. We even prolonged our stay there from 5 to 10 nights. We got an own cabin with terrace from were we had a good view of the ocean. Everything was clean and well mantainced even the pool was so very clean. The receptionist Miriam was always very kind and helpful with everything even advices of travelling costs with different vehicles etc. She even let us cook in the kitchen and barbecue. “There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort. First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing. We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained. There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. “Great resort, wonderful staff, extremely accommodating and very clean. The food is amazing also quite beach access. The dive shop is top notch. You won’t get hassled by people like in sabang. I will only stay at badladz from now on when visiting puerto galera. Oh and the beer is ice cold!”
