Peacefully located within one of Gozo’s oldest villages this charming holiday escape enjoys a secluded location on the north-eastern tip of the island.

Inside, the villa’s stylish interior blends the charm of traditional Gozitan architecture with well-chosen contemporary fittings. Each room has been thoughtfully furnished and the main open-plan living space is arranged as several interconnecting chambers with curved limestone archways and wood-beamed ceilings. This space forms the main hub of the house and is furnished with a fireplace, a comfortable L-shaped sofa and a flatscreen smart TV. There is also a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen chamber fitted with; a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a Dolcegusto coffee maker and a fridge freezer. A double bedroom and the main bathroom also form part of the ground floor area, with three further bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor.

The large limestone arches that surround the ground floor area open directly to an expansive terrace with a private swimming pool an outside dining space and a BBQ. There is also a smaller terrace on the first floor that overlooks the garden and pool area with a panoramic view over the rocky coastline to the sea.

The property is located in Qala, a historic village situated on the eastern tip of the island of Gozo, a peaceful retreat away from the more tourist-heavy areas. The property is a five-minute drive from the calm, clear waters of Hondqo Bay, a popular destination for snorkelling, the picturesque Dahlet Qorrot Bay (a 4-minute drive) and Comino Island famous for its Blue Lagoon, which is easily accessible by boat from Mgarr (an 8-minute drive).

The village is surrounded by countryside offering short walks with the most beautiful views across the island out to the sea, there are also riding stables a 3-minute drive from the property. Gozo’s capital Victoria is a 13-minute drive away. The closest restaurant is a 15-minute walk and there is a grocery store within a 3-minute drive.

With the clearest water in the Mediterranean and an enviable climate that boasts an incredible 300 days of sunshine, there is never a bad time to visit Malta. Summers are hot and dry, often with twelve hours of sun a day. Winters are remarkably mild and popular for walking tours through the island\'s beautiful countryside, with a daily average of five to six hours of sunshine. Malta is also known for its culture & heritage (7000 years of history), land & water sports and an amazing selection of restaurants, bars & festivals.
