“Lovely property and couple. What a welcomed feeling for two jet lagged travelers. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was stocked with all the creature comforts. Tub was a sight for welcomed sight for sore eyes and the shower was top notch, with great water pressure, as per my husband. On-site parking was easy and convenient as listed. “Liz and her team run a very friendly, comfortable, hotel and bar. The food is the best in Prestbury and the Cocktails are superb. We slept incredibly well and left feeling very chilled. We stayed for a visit to Jodrell Bank but may well just come back to chill ”

“Had a brilliant few days stay at the cottage, the phrase that comes to mind is home away from home. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Location for us was perfect with the monsal trail on its doorstep, loads of walking trails nearby and not far from Buxton. Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend, thank you”

“Very comfortable bed and helpful staff. Antique furniture in the room might be nice to look at but it’s not always comfortable to use. Would’ve been nice if there had been a couple of comfortable chairs in the room. Also, having only a small cafetière in the room means that it has to be cleaned out after each use. That includes disposing of coffee grinds. Where do you put them?”

“The hotel had lots of character. We couldnt fault the room. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The little touches like fresh milk and drinks in the fridge on arrival. Packed lunch every mornimg of our stay. Ideal location for exploring. The pianist in the restaurant in the evening was lovely.The food was very good.”
