Let yourself be seduced by one of the most majestic and unique tiny houses in the Quebec region. Thanks to its minimalist design with clean lines, this tiny house blends harmoniously into its environment, offering a privileged scene to contemplate the splendor of nature. Like the mineral that makes up the rocky outcrops characteristic of the region, Mica clings to the side of the mountain, revealing a breathtaking panorama. The master bedroom, located upstairs, has a queen-size bed offering a breathtaking and dizzying view of the mountains that stretch as far as the eye can see. Full-length windows on both levels allow for views of the landscape in every season. Enjoy year-round comfort with heated floors throughout the home, a central heating/cooling system, and a gas stove that provides cozy warmth on even the coldest winter days. Two bunk beds and a sofa bed on the main floor provide comfortable accommodations for additional guests. The kitchen is equipped with all the modern conveniences you could want: refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, Nespresso coffee machine and a complete set of cookware to prepare delicious meals at home. Outdoor amenities such as the barbecue and wood-burning fireplace are operational all year round, giving you the opportunity to take full advantage of the outdoor space. 

Just twelve minutes from the house, discover a high-end supermarket, a bakery offering fresh morning croissants and specialty breads, as well as a selection of local restaurants to satisfy all your culinary desires. 

Just 25 minutes north of Quebec City, Lac-Beauport stands out as a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering world-renowned recreational activities. Whether it's skating on the lake, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking or mountain biking on some of the most beautiful trails in the world, the possibilities are endless! Le Mica, nestled in the heart of the private Maelstrom estate, embodies the pinnacle of the outdoor experience in Lac-Beauport. Maelstrom is a large private property dedicated to accommodation and leisure, offering a unique combination of on-site activities and exceptional accommodations for memorable experiences. 

The house is perched at the top of the Maelstrom estate (altitude 550 meters). It is accessible by a 3-kilometer private road. You can park directly at the chalet. From April 15 to November 1, any type of car is suitable to access the property. WINTER TRAVEL During the snowy season, from November 1 to April 15, an all-wheel drive car (AWD, 4x4) is required to access the property. During the winter season, it is also possible to arrange a shuttle service with us. This service must be planned in advance. 

TAXI and UBER Due to the remote location of the house, it is not advisable to rely on taxi or Uber services for transportation. These services are rare in the area, so it may be difficult or impossible to find transportation and you may have difficulty leaving the house. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding transportation. ***IMPORTANT INFORMATION

SHUTTLE SERVICE: We are pleased to offer a convenient shuttle service to our guests! To use this service, please go to 99 Chemin du Moulin, Lac-Beauport, Quebec, where we have reserved complimentary overnight parking spaces for you to safely leave your vehicle for the duration of your stay. This location is also our pick-up location. To ensure a smooth experience, simply let us know your expected arrival time and we will add you to the shuttle schedule. The shuttle service is available at a rate of $50 CAD each way, or $100 CAD for a round trip to the house and back. We look forward to assisting you with your transportation needs!
