“Otroligt trevlig personal och jätte fin omgivning och fräscht hotell. Vi bodde i ett dubbelrum med japanskstil och det var toppen! Maten var bra, provade 2 st restauranger som fanns på hotellet (1 klassisk kinesisk och 1 lite mer västerländsk) och båda var bra. Frukosten var inte toppen - fanns väldigt mycket att välja på vilket är bra, men som svensk så fanns det inte jätte mycket som föll mig i smaken, men väldigt fräscht!”
“I simply loved it! So many amenities come with the room, centrally located across the way from the Miao Kou might market. Great local breakfast places open quite early. Room was clean well stocked and most importantly in June well air conditioned. I got it so cold in there I needed a long sleeve. If you're traveling alone in Keelung I can't recommend it enough! ”

The late night concierge on the weekend immediately made me feel at home, coming in at 11 pm on my first solo trip to Asia.

Be aware that most of the restaurants amd things to do are on the other side of the river. There is a shuttle about six times a day to the exhibition center, the HSR station and the Lala mall.”

"The hotel is truly a majestic and beautiful building (although dated) and well worth visiting. Be aware of that it is a tourist attraction and can be very crowded and noisy in the lobby. During our trip (weekend), an army of young girls in princess dresses wrecked havoc in the lobby. It was less than ideal for enjoying a romantic treat in the lobby cafe and the staff were very busy. Not much time for giving us service or attention, which caused an initially disappointed impression. I would say that the lobby cafe is overpriced in regards to the level of service and mediocre quality of food & drink. The interior design is beautiful and we appreciated the white tablecloth and all, but the noisy stressful environment was a let down. We asked a waitress if there was some special event but she said that it's always like that. Seems like kids and tour busses full of backwater mainland Chinese villagers from all over arrive and spend some time in the facility. Forget any notion of dresscode and expect cheap behaviour like blasting cell phone speaker noise in public..
We had dinner in the golden dragon restaurant. A quite nice experience with a good view of downtown Taipei. The service style was a bit different from western restaurants. If you wanted to order, you really had to grab the attention of the staff. Very good food!
I don't recommend the breakfast. A lot of choices, but most of it low quality."
"Under vår månadslånga vistelse i Taiwan hade vi detta hotell som bas och bodde här vid tre separata tillfällen. Vi hade tre olika rum, alla var mycket bra. Rent. fräscht, vänligt. "A simple hotel that has what we needed. A good variety of breakfast, for both Western and Asian pallets. We were very pleased with the fact that they have parking in the garage, on a first come, first served basis. When we first arrived, by car, there was only one spot left but it was too tight. The guy in the reception then ran down and moved some scooters to make more room. That's great service. My only complaint is that I would have preferred a proper door to the bathroom."
