Ok, nothing more.
It was ok, nothing else. The room felt quite old and a need of renovation. The service was ok, but the only staff that was a bit happy and serviceminded was one of the bartender. So more happy smiles and a little renovation on this place and you will be better than Hilton.

Under ombyggnad. Rörigt.Frukosten ingen hit. Skulle boka en golftid i receptionen. När vi kom fram till klubben var ingen bokning genomförd. Kändes som att personalen inte var anpassad efter västerlänska gäster utan mer åt asiatiska så viss språk förbistring bidrog.

Limited wifi and no AC
The location is great. But: there is no AC! The rooms are very very hot. The wifi is bad. Really bad. They have a datalimit and then they charge you to use the wifi. This is not reasonable in todays digital age. I rather have a stable and non-restricted wifi than a bathtub.

It was a nice hotel and a clean place to stay. The layout of the hotel is confusing and the front desk does not do a very good job explaining how to get around.

We stayed 3 nights and it was a perfect location for us. It is about a 5 minute walk from downtown Queenstown and the walk into the town is along a beautiful walking path that leads right to the lake. Upon checkin we were given a plethora of great information, how to park (we paid the extra $15 a night for garage access that you can come and go from as much as you like otherwise you can play the game of free street parking) and a bellman met us in the parking garage to show us to our room because the property is sprawling and quite large and can be hard to find your way at times. The room was big enough for us not to feel cramped for our 3 nights. We have a stunning view right outside on the ground level of mountains and the lake. One of our favorite spots to end the night was the restaurant/lounge up top that showed more beautiful views. The food was good, gave enough choices and the bar was easy. The staff was incredibly lovely and accommodating! Would certainly stay here again.

We were checked into a big room with the spectacular view of lake waikatipu. Convenient location, a quick 5-min walking distance to Queenstown centre for our morning coffee. Overall a lovely experience!

The room had a great lake view. The hotel was old and not very clean. Plumbing was poor. Very few services, couldn’t get a coffee mid-afternoon.

The building grounds and staff all seemed lovely. it was an odd arrangement of buildings too navigate but all was fine until we went to bed to find that the sheets under the made bed were obviously not clean. someone came up and changed the bed immediately he was kind efficient and apologetic but we were still taken aback. The next day at check out the front desk didn't seem to be aware this had happened at all.

The lake and surrounding mountains are extremely beautiful. The location is quiet and calm. Just a few minutes walk to good restaurants, stores, hiking and bicycle trails. Really enjoyed our stay there.

This was obviously once a very nice hotel but it is in great need of some tlc. Rooms are a good size, bathrooms old and in need of renovation. Fabulous views from our room. Laundry facilities good. The whole place needs a lick of paint!

The areas of the hotel that were on the main floor were light enough, but there are weird block arms of the hotel that jut out downstairs that created long, dark hallways to get to the rooms. We had a suite on the lake which had beautiful views of the mountains and was very comfortable But dated. The staff were very friendly, the showers strong with good water pressure (but backed up into the bathroom) and the hotel is very convenient to town.

Large rooms, need to request a quiet room, easy walk to town, good dining experience with friendly staff. Breakfast buffet at $35 is NOT worth it. Poor selection and horrible coffee. There are excellent coffee machines on the market

The property is in a great location a block away from the beach and about five minutes from downtown Queenstown! The one negative I have about the property is the Wi-Fi. It was completely unusable, I just relied on my cell phone service. I would not stay here again based on how bad the Wi-Fi was.
