âI had a pleasant stay at Taypikala Boutique Hotel. The staff were welcoming and generously upgraded me to a suite, which was a lovely surprise. The room was comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The only downside was that the hot water in the shower ran out after a few minutes, turning slightly chilly. Still, it was an overall great experience, and Iâd happily stay again.â
âTrevlig stĂ€lle mitt i smeten!
âWe finished our tour of Machu Picchu and our bus didnât leave for hours so we booked this hotel to take a nap/relax. The room was not ready but the staff got it ready for us quickly. Great location, comfortable bed, an friendly staff. â
âGood hotel in Aguas Caliente.
There were protests going on in town during our stay, so very few guests at the hotel. No restaurant was open in the hotel, just breakfast was served. Great staff, highly recommended.â
âProbably the best place to be in the Machu Picchu area. The hotel and its garden is well worth a visit in its own right. We booked early and got a good price and very good value concidering the meals included. â
âThe views were incredible. The space was quiet and the staff friendly. The hotel is near the square and only a 5 minute walk from the market/train/bus stations, but far enough away from the most active places to be calming. Be mindful of the hike up to the hotel! If you can pack extra light, do so. I was lucky to meet a couple of young men to help carry my suitcase up the flights of stairs and the hotel host carried it down for me when I left.â
âGood service, very nice room â exactly the luxury you'll need after trekking the Inca Trial for 4 days! The restaurant serve surprisingly modern and good food. Staff was very helpful. Only downside are the ground floor rooms without balcony. Overall a very nice experience.â
âThe service was exceptional! The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and the entrance to Machu Picchu. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing with hot water! One of my favorite boutiques in Peru!â
âWe had a lovely room with comfy beds and a great shower after our Inca Trail hike. The included dinner was good and the spa services were excellent. The staff was also very helpful holding our bags and delivering them to our room.. We also enjoyed walking around the area around the hotel and the market and it was only a block to walk to the train station.â
