Super location just needs a little soap

This is a great location and the apartment would be perfect if you didn't have to clean it first. The bed in the master bedroom is disgusting.

easy check in great host very safe building

i loved my stay with david he was an awesome host. check in was regularly at 2pm and the day before i advised david that i was be here extremely early and he was SUPER accomodating. we ended up showing up at 9:30am and the guard at the door already had the keys for me in order to check in easily the apt was awesome had directions on the table for wifi passwords and also where heaters were located because the apt is pretty chilly it’s a beautiful apt only about 5-7min taxi ride from the center of town (foch plaza) so if you’re up for a quiet stay this is your place. the guard at the door really made us feel safe and opened and closed the door when we walked in and out. the only thing was you can’t wash and dry at the same time because it’ll stop washing mid way but it didn’t take away from the excellent stay. i would recommend this place to anyone and to david thank you sooooo much for always being so accomodating and answering all questions promptly at whatever time a message was sent. i recommend this place to anyone staying in quito !

Great apartment with full kitchen!

We booked 8 nights over the Christmas holiday and really enjoyed our stay here, especially having a full kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils and appliances (and the tea provided was a nice touch!). The beds were comfortable and the showers always had hot water and good pressure. Towels were provided but we did have to buy extra toilet paper and paper napkins. There was a friendly security guard on call 24/7 and it was easy to catch a cab/Cabify/Uber from the street. The only negatives were the coffee maker, portable heater, and laundry washer didn't work, and we informed David of these issues right away, however he was not able to fix them during our stay. He brought us instant coffee the next morning and a working heater on our last day (but keep in mind there are two bedrooms). It was a bit cold at night, but not intolerable. One side note is that there was a neighborhood dog that barked multiple times every single night and even with earplugs, I could hear him. Other than that, and if the appliances are fixed, I 100% recommend David's place!

Cute little place in a great neighborhood.

This place was cute and clean. My friend and I had stayed in a 5 star hotel a few days with the travel group we traveled with prior to coming to this place and we were so happy to leave it and stay in this VRBO. There are a lot of great places to eat in this neighborhood. The place is clean and well stocked. The only issue we were concerned about was the dog behind the apartment that barked during the day at times but by evening he wasn't barking. The beds were comfortable and I would definitely go back and stay in this place again if I ever went to Quito.

Nice spot good location friendly security guards

We enjoyed our stay although the unit was very cold in January. After two days we found the portable heating unit which made a big difference. There is a TV in each bedroom and not the living area so if you watch it you have to lie in bed. Not a big issue.

Perfect Perfect Apartment

For the four of us- we were thrilled to be greeted by white sheets, fluffy pillows and two bathrooms and bedrooms! Location was great- near the Super Marche and many restaurants. Would do it all again!

Excellent stay with restaurants close at hand.

David took very good care of us. This is a wonderful apartment located near restaurants and with taxis close at hand. If you go out the front door, turn right, walk down to Isabella Catholic street and then turn left and walk down the hill, there are plenty of restaurants close at hand. The apartment is close to the Swissotel, which is where you can pick up tours of the city. Taxi fares to city attractions are inexpensive ($2 to $5) and taxis go by the apartment very frequently. The washer and dryer mean that you can clean your clothing and the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to make a meal. The WIFI is faster than our home in Texas.

Great location, comfortable stay

David's place was just perfect for the three of us. We were fortunate to get it at very short notice when our arranged accomodation cancelled on us less than a day before we were to arrive in Quito. David was prompt in answering emails and provided us with his phone number if there were problems-which there were none. We arrived fairly late, but the 24 hr security was there and were terrific at helping us get our stuff into his place. Two comfortable double beds and most importantly, comfortable pillows-not a block of hard foam that most places provide. Cabs were really easy to get right outside the apartment and are very inexpensive in Quito-just make sure they use the meter. We found a couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance. La Gloria had outstanding seafood and service, likely in the top 5 of my all-time best meals. They do not have a wine license but there is a wine store on the premises where you can buy a bottle and they will open it for you. Or, you can just bring a bottle with you and there is no corkage. The second is called Urko and it is more of a tapas style place, although you can get full meals there. We sat at the bar and watched the chefs cooking and had a wonderful meal. Both of these places are expensive by Quito standards, but really good value and excellent food. I would not hesitate to stay at David's place if I return to Quito.

A lovely,comfortable and well situated location.I fell inlove with Quito the time we saw our place!

Everything you see in the photos are there.The apartment is small,modern,comfortable and classy.My family enjoyed every inch of space,the ambience made the whole place feel more than a vacation home.I enjoyed the location,the restaurants and the help by the security guards at the condo; they were all so very nice,especially the older guy (sorry I never got his name).David the owner was exceptional,he made sure that my time in Ecuador was well spent by providing updated information and making sure that all my questions/concerns were answered promptly.I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to get closer to Quito life but in a safe and clean environment.I can go on and on but I rather think about planning my next trip back!

Great apartment rental

We really lucked out renting this apartment . This was our first trip to Quito and really didn't know the best places to rent. This apartment is in a newer building with 24 hour security and very friendly security people. The unit was very clean and well equipped. David the manager suggested a number of nearby restaurants and we found more. These are all in a very short walking distance in a very safe neighbourhood. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Clean, comfortable and centrally located

My friends and I spent three nights in this property and it really couldn't have been better. The apartment is nicely and comfortably decorated with all of the amenities. It was particularly nice to have a washer/dryer since we had spent five days in the Amazon prior to arriving here. There were a lot of nice details in the apartment that made it very homey. It was nice to have 24-hour security. We were within walking distance to many great restaurants. It was a quiet building. I would highly recommend it for a stay in Quito.
